Historia
It’s officially booty o’clock, I’m alone again in my kitchen choking down a slice of terrible chocolate cake…and I’m pretty sure I just got drunk texted by the man I have a ginormous crush on. I’ve been daydreaming about Eliot Hoffman’s dimples for two months, and even though I’m sure this was a mistake on his end, it doesn’t mean it’s not an opportunity on mine. It’s the middle of the night, and I just wanna talk to him. So I text him back.

so worth the read! a+++++ (and clean) 👍🏾👍🏾
Revisado: 04-28-21
Somehow this came up on my recommendations and I spontaneously decided to give it a go. Am I ever so glad I did!! First, this is a clean read -- which honestly isn't my jam but no regrets. Second, the performance is STELLAR. I kid you not. It's up there with Harry Potter in my opinion. The narrators are fantastic, plausible, and consistent. I also loved that it has background noises and sound effects. Felt so much more real, like listening to a movie. Lastly, the story was amazing. I fell in love with Elliot and JD and their friends and family. It was a bit predictable but still very enjoyable. I was rooting so hard for them. I loved how JD was able to deal with problems directly and Elliot was the gentle character. Not really gender reversals but so much appreciation for what skills and talents each have. I LOVED this.

nope! I'm not wasting my time
Revisado: 10-22-19
I only made it through a few minutes. in the first sentence she literally said "his soft flabby stomach is REPULSIVE" I don't give any my time to people who fat shame. As a big person myself I found it offensive. Because of course there is nothing wrong with the girl, she's perfect and skinny and anything else is repulsive. Additionally the narrator sucked.

Historia
Truth Alan Reacher was a biker. He was a bladesmith. What he was not, was a fool. The moment he walked in on his girl screwing his cousin on his bike, he does the only thing he can do. He ditches the bike seat - and the girl - riding right out of her life without a backwards glance. That is, until he's forced to attend the marriage of his cousin to his cheating ex-girlfriend. The only bright spot of the entire thing was watching some chick go off on the groom - the groom's ex-fiance - right in the middle of the bouquet toss.

Terrible narration --- so bad I couldn't finish
Revisado: 08-12-19
Unfortunately this is another case of the narration ruining the story. The story itself was good - so much that I bought the kindle edition at the halfway point so I could finish it. As this is a review for the audio copy my rating reflects that. So glad this was on Escape package or I'd be getting my credits back. The male voice was better than the female. she was unbearable. I really done understand. Isn't there someone mixing and editing these performances?? It had to go through levels of review and approval to get to production. They should be the experts and know it sucks. So frustrating.

Feelings are a weakness he can't afford - until a gorgeous bartender gets under his skin. Near Sea Haven, the small town of Caspar has given Anya Rafferty a new lease on life. And she's desperate to hold on to her job at the biker bar, even if the scariest member of the club seems to have it out for her. But Reaper's imposing presence and smoldering looks just ratchet up the heat.

Narrator so terrible I couldn't...
Revisado: 05-08-19
Couldn't even get through the first chapter. So incredibly disappointing. Thankfully I have the paper copy because the story is good.
If you've read any of the 7 sisters novel you'll know these are Russian guys. He was doing Reaper as some sort of fake Texan or something. I have no clue. But it was so distracting and not authentic I could not listen.
I tried listening to him in Shadow Rider and it was terrible - wasn't sure if it was the story (which I didn't like) or him - but can definitely say I won't listen to anything by him anymore.
Waste of time.

She may have lost her dignity that fateful night, but Sophie also gained something precious - her son Noah. Unfortunately, Zach's a deadbeat dad, leaving Ruger as Noah's only male role model. The good parts are great, otherwise, meh...
Revisado: 09-01-18
I was so eager to read this after the first book. I'm left very disappointed. First, the male narrator did not work for me at all. He has a nasal, strong accent that annoyed me the entire book. I loved Ruger's character. Sophie on the other hand, I hated. Actually I feel she in no way deserves Ruger or happiness. All I got from her was judgemental selfishness. I understand protecting your child fiercely, but to the extent that she think (and said) no one in the world matters except him and she's fine with others being in danger so she can run away with him...no. In the whole book she's always judging someone based on her small mind. I'm sad she got beat up but get let yourself. Seriously, she's uses Ruger because he's a good steady man for her son but he's such a bad person she doesn't want him to be himself? Yeah, I hate her.

TERRIBLE. Don't waste your time or money
Revisado: 08-22-18
I'm 3 minutes into this book and I can't. I can't continue to listen to this. I have no clue what the narrator was trying to do. Every word was stilted and over enunciated. And then she did a horrible accent - not sure if it was supposed to be British. I can't believe someone performed this so terribly, someone else recorded it, and another person reviewed and signed off to publish it. For the entire world to hear. I feel bad and embarrassed for the author. I'll try reading the ebook.

Marie doesn't need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother's house one afternoon doesn't agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now. But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband, and she's not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse - she doesn't know his real name or where he lives, she's 90 percent certain he's a criminal and that the "business" he talks with her brother isn't website design.

Revisado: 08-22-18
This book was such a surprise. In every good way. I'm leery of MC stories because the men are often just cruel and selfish. This one showed the alpha but also the kindness, courage, and loyalty. I was mad at the heroine for a time there, but it all resolved in the end. The bad guy was obvious, so a little bit predictable. Can't wait to read the next one. The performance was very well done. My only "complaint" is that I was on the edge of my seat for 8 hours!

Don't waste your time or money!
Revisado: 06-24-18
I could only listen to the first 10 minutes of this book. If I could give negative stars I would. This review does not reflect the story. For sure I will never listen to a book narrated by Lance Greenfield. Every word spoken was in an "old" voice. He over enunciated every word, speaking every single consonant and putting a space between each word. The story couldn't flow because it was so broken up. It was staccato and stilted. I understand wanting to be clear, but it was so painful. I literally winced and deleted it. Thank goodness it was in the romance package or I'd demand my money back. I'll read this story on the kindle instead.

Entertaining and fun!
Revisado: 02-28-18
I actually liked this better than the first. It was a bit predictable, the "bad guy" was obvious. I was a little frustrated why these super intelligent Wyr couldn't figure it out. The dynamic between T & N was great. I loved their relationship and how their personalities balanced each other. A lot of heart breaking losses but it ended well. And it's set up nicely for the next book. I'm a fan. The narration is well done. There was just one character voice that was a little annoying, but overall I think she did a great job. She didn't overdo the male voices.

Such a surprise. Language is pretty crude but works well with the story. Pretty erotic and hot. This book randomly came up in the recommendations and I'm so glad I got it. Characters were real, honest, and believable. I literally laughed out loud MULTIPLE times. My co-workers probably thought I was crazy. The narrator was fantastic. I would definitely listen to him again.
