Historia
When Maximilian Ophuls is murdered outside his daughter's home by his Kashmiri Muslim driver, it appears to be a political killing. Ophuls is the former U.S. ambassador to India and America's leading figure in counter-terrorism. But there is much more to Ophuls and his assassin, a mysterious man calling himself "Shalimar the Clown", than meets the eye. One woman is at the center of their shared history, a history of betrayal and deception.

Incredible Narrator
Revisado: 07-17-23
The narrator does a great job imbuing personality into each character, even mimicking accents for each nationality. He reads Rushdie’s dark, dramatic moments in a way that makes your heart stop and stomach sink. Well done.

Historia
Too many workplaces are driven by cynicism, paranoia, and self-interest. But the best ones foster trust and cooperation because their leaders build what Sinek calls a "Circle of Safety" that separates the security inside the team from the challenges outside. Sinek illustrates his ideas with fascinating true stories that range from the military to big business, from government to investment banking.

Well written but not a business book
Revisado: 01-11-21
Senik does a good job of describing how leaders can foster employee satisfaction and boost employee retention. However, he fails to create a convincing business case for it. Instead, he relies on moral arguments that stretch a little. For example, he equates paying lower corporate taxes to equipping the Titanic with too few lifeboats. Senik does offer some good tips for managing millennials, which ring true to this millennial who manages millennials.
