It's fascinating to hear the real detectives talk about what it is to be a homicide detective. Not the 'shoot 'em up, roll over the hood of the car, beat up the bad guy' version of most television dramas, but the inside the mind view the public never a gets to see.

This is a great companion piece to the books and the series and an informative bridge between the two. I've read the series since the first three books were published and have the distinct pleasure of meeting the author. The first podcast is spoiler free and will introduce the listener to the world of Harry Bosch. I envy those who are only just starting to enter Michael Connelly's world!
