I had set a very low bar for this book.
The title alone made it a joke..."I wonder what it's about?". :-)
Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be brilliantly done. Historically accurate dialogue, real and relatable characters and superbly done narration. Do not hesitate to give this a shot, with an open mind. I found out you can't tell an audio book by .....well, you know the rest.

meh. drama drama
Revisado: 04-05-18
started out as victim glorification, floated into a "many characters who-dunit" and throughout, tried too hard which wound up making it not bad - but not good. Narrators also tried to hard. quaking voices and teen aged "up talkers". Story or Narration improvement might have helped alot, but both fell short.

Historia
Lee Strobel became convinced that God was outmoded. Today science is supports the conclusion that the universe was intelligently designed. Darwinism has faltered in the face of facts and hard reason. Science definitely gives faith a boost as new findings emerge about the complexity of our universe. Strobel re-examines the theories that once led him away from God. You'll encounter discoveries from cosmology, DNA research, and human consciousness that present evidence in The Case for a Creator.

Brutally over detailed, needlessly ntertwined and painfully reliant on repeated gimics. narration was adequate but the poor material made the narration irritating too. I strongly suspect this was not Coben ( one of our faces ) doing the writing as it came across amateurish

The insights to another culture were great. the characters well defined and distinguishable. Great narration. don't look for any "oh wow!" moments. there are none however, for the telling of a tale, the conveyance of the experiences of the characters, well done

After a promising start, major fail.
Revisado: 10-17-15
The front end of this was unique and just strange enough to be intriguing. Then a few hours of "when was this?" and "which guy was that?" and the book, story and actors quickly left the realm of interest. By the end of the tale, I was praying for the sweet release of death. I've heard a couple worse...but very few. Do NOT make my mistake and assume it will somehow be worth the effort by the end.
