Skyler just keeps getting more delicious.

I'm now officially addicted to this series. It's sassy, sexy, silly and full of enough sappy romance to have me hooked. This time there's no overall mystery - just the holiday hijinks of Skyler and his wacky friends as Skyler and Keith navigate their new relationship. The story has some great farce scenes. The book chronicles Thanksgiving through New Years and it's a family-centric pressure cooker for commitment-phobic Skyler. Skyler's as adorably infuriating as always... and his buddies in the SFC provide tons of laughs. As ever, Joel Leslie's narration is over-the-top and irresistible - I can't imagine anyone else bringing the comedic zest to these characters that he does... it's a great match of narrator and material. It's one of my favorite in the series, and hopefully the books keep getting more and more fun.

Historia
Alexander Lambeth, fifth earl of Grenville, had eyes only for the fair Lady Elizabeth during his first London season. Unfortunately Elizabeth's father brokered her marriage to another. Fancying himself broken hearted, Alex consented to a loveless union with Lady Felicity, daughter of wealthy Lord Morecombe. Five years into his marriage, his first love is widowed, and Alex's wife seems to believe he will waste no time making Lady Elizabeth his mistress.

Swept me off my feet.
Revisado: 06-07-15
I really enjoyed this book. It was charming with two characters who are well-drawn and very engaging. The whole book is a wonderful tug of war between the characters inner feelings and outer decorum. It's a really interesting spin on a romance... since the lead characters are already married... I'd never encountered a story that had quite this approach before. It was a charming exploration of the difference between love and obsession - devotion and infatuation. Felicity and Alex are a wonderful foil to each other - and the supporting characters, especially the Aunt, are absolutely delightful. The narration is excellent - witty, charming and sensitive.

CRAVING more!!!
Revisado: 05-23-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes - I loved it. I thought the characters were so well drawn, funny, real and flawed in a way that created perfect chemistry. Summers has created a great, original premise for what could be a tired theme, and filled it with two lead characters that crackle with intensity. They are smart, witty and i found this totally addictive. And the narrator only adds to enjoyment - his peformance is awesome.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Craving?
Sabine's dreams are pretty darn hot... and I love when you hear Remy's inner thoughts.
Which scene was your favorite?
There's a scene where the characters are having a really intense discussion... It was heartbreaking and I realized I had become totally invested in the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Dinner is served. Meet Sabine Crowley.
Any additional comments?
I was blown away by how original and how much I enjoyed the beginning of this series. If you're a Twi-hard or fan of True Blood etc. not only will you enjoy this...but you'll find it fresh, inventive and a totally entertaining experience.
