Short and minimal content. Same points are repeated (go with neutral colors stated in 3 consecutive points). At least it was a quick listen

Historia
Elwood Blues (aka Dan Aykroyd) is on another mission—to tell the full story of how two young actors went from blues lovers to Blues Brothers. In this fascinating audio documentary Aykroyd “gets the band back together”, taking listeners on a road trip through time—from late nights in the early days with John Belushi at Dan’s speakeasy in Toronto, to working with blues legends Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Ray Charles on The Blues Brothers movie, through the founding of House of Blues, the Blues Brothers 2000 sequel, and beyond.

Great background on a special band
Revisado: 08-06-24
Loved getting this background story directly from those who lived it. The Blues Brothers album and movie were huge hits in my early teen years and introduced me to incredible music and musicians. I saw the movie countless times in the theater and transferred the music from album to tape to cd to playlists. It was wonderful to hear how much fun these talented artists had in producing the music and film as well as the heart that John and Dan had for honoring the original artists and their goal to expose my generation to them. I am very grateful that they did.

Historia
This is a self help-book like no other. Because you are not helping yourself, James Acaster is helping you. When James quit all forms of social media in 2019 he felt like he'd been born anew, but he was worried he'd suffer withdrawal and get lured back online to compete in a never ending popularity contest with only one possible winner (f--king Zuckerberg). He knew that in order to stay clean he'd have to replace everything social media used to give him with three-dimensional real-life activities.

Too Long
Revisado: 02-23-24
I love James Acaster’s wit. There are some very funny bits within this book and it was so much better listening to him deliver them. The story just goes on too long. I expected more in the way of social commentary about our lives online but it was 90% made up comedy bits and 10% bits that make a point.
