Revisado: 08-26-20
one of my favorite Parts is hearing Karl Rove do an impersonation of Teddy Roosevelt excellent book get the little details and the politics in the middle of the book but that is Carl Rose specialty information that I don't know that I would get anywhere else and understanding that no one else would have

Historia
Ulysses S. Grant's life has typically been misunderstood. All too often he is caricatured as a chronic loser and an inept businessman or as the triumphant but brutal Union general of the Civil War. But these stereotypes don't come close to capturing him, as Chernow reveals in his masterful biography, the first to provide a complete understanding of the general and president whose fortunes rose and fell with dizzying speed and frequency.

thank you mr. chernow thank you narrator I was brought in by the geographical references to my Midwestern upbringing rivals references battles in the Civil War I felt for grant that struggles as a Young Man I wept and yearn for Appomatix
I appreciate it turn out of balance and look at things that human eyes grant instead of just making him out to be a mythical hero the narrator had special voices for Mark Twain and Julia Grant and Abraham Lincoln spectacular job
