Wrecking Havoc is book one in Grae Bryan’s Demon Bound series. This series is a spinoff of Vampire Mates. The series starts off with Sascha, Alexei’s brother (Johann, Vampire’s Mate #4) is. Sascha is a spoiled mafia prince and is attacked to send a message to the eldest brother, Ivan. Sascha goes into hiding in a small town in Maine and accidently summons Kai, a warrior demon.

« unique demon anatomy »
« possessive & protective vibes »
« size difference »

Sascha is a sassy and mouthy twink who is a total size queen. He tries his darndest to resist the hulking demon who is equally alluring as he is arrogant.  Kai gets what he wants, and he is certain that what he wants is Sascha.

I absolutely loved Sascha and Kai together. Kai was a warrior with a restless soul – until Sascha. Sascha sooths him and makes him content for the first time in his long life. Kai is happy to just love, pamper, and care for Sascha. Kai makes Sascha feel so cared for, understood, and protected, like no one else ever has. It is through his care, protection, and acceptance that Sascha becomes more secure and confident in himself. Kai is a perfect mix on cocky arrogance and caring, and Sascha is a mix of salty sass and sweetness – they blend so perfectly together.

I found myself laughing one minute, swooning the next, followed by feeling the heat from those steamy scenes! I loved the possessiveness and protectiveness that I have come to love and expect from Grae Bryan. Kai is protective and has moments of possessiveness, but it comes from a place of care and devotion and not ownership. As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration! I can’t wait to listen to Ivan’s story next!

Colin by Grae Bryan is book the 6th and final book in the Vampire's Mate series.

« grumpy human x golden retriever vampires »
« platonic vampire twins »
« fated mates »
« biting kink »
« gray-ace MC »
« found family »

Since being introduced to Fox and Dane, I was curious about how their story would unfold as platonic bonded vampire twins. I was hesitant to read this book as MMM is not my jam, but I love this series so much and couldn’t not read the last one! To my surprise, I absolutely loved Colin, Fox, and Dane. I could even argue that this was the best MMM I have read. So many MMM stories leave me feeling like one is left or that they prefer one over the other. I did not get that feeling at all from this book. I felt like the triad really fit together perfectly.

I am such a sucker for a**holes who are only soft for their person. This trope will never get old for me. The twins are total a**holes, but not with Colin. With Colin they are protective, sweet, and are total caretakers who love to dote on their human. I loved the contrast of Colin’s black cat energy and the twins’ golden retriever vibes.

Platonic bonds are rare and as a result Fox and Dane’s old den treated them like outcasts and freaks. The lack of comfort and affection from each other impacted the twins – making their devils restless. Colin was the missing puzzle piece slotting into place. The twins needed him, but Colin needed them just as much. Colin understood their bond without judgement, and they accepted him in return – his sexuality, his insecurities, his prickliness; telling him he is enough, just as he is. They quieted his mind and allowed him to let go.

As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration! The cameos just added to the perfection of this story! Jay being protective of his human bestie, Jamie being a little shit as always, and Roman and Luc being frenemies. This was an amazing conclusion to the Hyde Park/Tucson den and the Vampire Mates series.

I loved this book, this audiobook is no exception. As the rest of the series, Michael Ferraiuolo did an excellent job narrating Wolfe and Eric. This combines all my favorite things – psychopath MC, fated mates, vampires, and possessive/obsessive MC. I really love Wolfgang and Eric together. Eric softens Wolfe’s razor sharp edges and gets him to consider his actions, instead of acting in a way that is easiest or only serves Wolfe’s desires. Wolfe is possessive and obsessive of Eric which is what he needs – he is touch and affection starved and needs someone who will constantly reassure him that he is enough. I also loved more Jamie action – he is just my favorite! He had me cracking up as always. I can’t wait for the next audiobook to be released!

Johann is one of my favorites from this series. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the audiobook. Jay is just the sweetest to ever sweet lol – he is sunshine personified. Alexei isn’t what I would call grumpy, but more of the strong silent type. I love how he accepted Jay for who he was from the very beginning. He just wants Jay to be happy and he wants to be the one to give Jay whatever he needs. On paper Jay and Alexei are complete opposites but they fit perfectly together. This story has it all – size difference, possessiveness, co-dependency, fated mates, first times, and found family!

As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration. Although Alexei is from New York I wasn’t expecting Alexei to have that accent. I was hoping that Alexei would have at least a little bit of a Russian accent when calling Jay “kotyonok” but that is just a personal preference. I can’t wait for the audiobook for Wolfgang next!

I love listening to audiobooks of books I have physically read. I have been obsessed with this series. I have been patiently waiting to listen to Lucien. Lucien and Jamie are one of my favorite couples in this series.

After reading Roman I wasn’t sure how I would find redemption in Luc or how I could like his character. Luc is more complicated than he seems in book 1. When he finds his mate, the one he desperately been looking for, he doesn’t claim and turn him the second they meet, like everyone thought he would. He cares to deeply for Jamie and his humanity and doesn’t want to be selfish and take that away from him. These two definitely fall under grumpy/sunshine. They are polar opposites, but they still just fit. Jamie is all light, smiles, and happiness. Luc is all dark, grumpy, series and a snob lol. Luc is all about refinement. Jamie with his green hair and grunge look/vibe is not what Luc had envisioned for himself. Jamie is just what Luc needs – Jamie is not a push over; he calls him out and pushes Luc. They are good for each other.

I am such a sucker for nicknames and terms of endearment that are not your typical babe/baby. I MELT when Lucien calls Jamie his flower or desert flower. Jamie calling Luc “monster daddy” is just so Jamie.

This book is full of snark, humor, sweetness, spicy, and undeniable chemistry! Narration was flawless, did a great job with Luc’s French accent, and brought this story to life. Highly recommend! I can’t wait for Jay’s and Alexei’s story next on audiobook!

"Tall, built, intense. Smelling like absolute sin. With that lovely little smattering of salt and pepper at the temples of his abundant dark hair. Hello, Monster Daddy."

I love listening to audiobooks of books I have physically read. I have been obsessed with this series. I have been patiently waiting to listen to Soren, after listening to Roman when it was released. I love Soren and Gabe also known as ‘brat’ and ‘his highness’. Soren has a huge snarky personality in a little package. Soren often tries to hide his vulnerability and how he cares for people behind attitude, snark, and banter. He is a big softy on the inside, especially got Gabe. Gabe is a bit grumpy and first denies his feelings towards Soren. This doesn’t last long; he softens for Soren. Even though Soren is a strong vampire, Gabe wants to protect Soren; they want to protect each other. They both make sacrifices in the name of protecting each other. This book is full of big personalities, banter, humor, sweetness, spicy, and undeniable chemistry! Narration was flawless and brought this story to life. Highly recommend! I can’t wait for Lucian’s story on audiobook!
