The author and narrator is a great speaker and I can only assume she has made a fortune doing public speaking... but...

This book prpresents a good technique to push yourself to turn ideas into actions. I give her that. the problem is that after that first 30 minutes explaining this, and theb30 minutes after giving some examples, the book becomes a manifest of situations (real or fictional) where she inteds to convince you that the only thing preventing you from achieving your goals is you. She claims that you should only focus in your instincts and that making decisions based on your own fearless hunches will get you to your promised land.

Not all hunches and instincts are right. I recognize that your brain has a tendency to overthink many things that don't need to be thought as much.

On the other hand, the brain is there for a reason. There is a multitude of people that ruin their life by acting impulsively on ideas that have not hadatheir due diligence. From a person asking for a divorce to starting a business that has no future just because you "feel" like it.

In my humbke opinion, the author should have taken the time to cover the role of your brain when something is telling you something is not right.

For me, the straw that broke the camels back came when she imposed her 5 second rule to the decision from Rosa Park and MLK to become part of the Civil rights movement.

She does make it lively although her theory has a ton of holes that could be debunked quickly by any person that has experience the need to eat crow after making a wrong an impulsive decision.

I really thought Steve was going to share his bio and have us laughing most of the way. It didn't, although he describes his life to the detail. His narration is somewhat monotonous. On the other hand, the story he depicts is fascinating as one of the most brilliant comedic minds of our lifetime. I guess I was hoping he would deliver it as he delivers his comedy. Great book nonetheless.

The book goes over, in a very easy to listen fashion, all the trades thus Z Generation has and, more importantly, it shows why them are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to Millennials. it us a father and son book that will show how a regular day situation is seen from the dad perspective (Gen X) and later from the kid perspective (Gen Z)... this is huge because it creates the bridge to understand the communication problems that existed between Boomers/Xers and the Gen Z (and Millennials. Super recommended!

This book presents a couple of good statistics regarding Millenials. Millennials in the marketing and publicity industry that is...

I have a manufacturing company servicing the steel industry and the principles in this book don't apply at any level to the majority of the millennials that belong to trades such as welders, electricians, mechanics, etc.

Millennials are a much wider generation that works in all industries and not only the reference industry that this book mentions. I have to say that if you have a marketing firm that has unlimited funds, this is the book for you and I wish you luck finding a "head morale coach" that can look after the "feelings" of the people that were born in this generation. But if you belong to an industry where its employees have to work with their hands to do something, I suggest you keep looking for a better guide to help you understand a generation like them.

There is a statement in this book that says "If at the end of the day you are not exhausted from doing all you can to help your employees, you are not doing enough".

In my industry, if you have an employee that requires more than an hour of attention on things not directly related to his/her job, you fire that person and look for someone else.

Regarding the way this book is read to you... well... the narrator becomes boring after chapter 3... particularly because he continues to talk about his company ALL THE TIME.

Very refreshing and quite comical. Tim Conway opens a huge door to his life and you can understand why he was the character we learned to love on the TV screen. I super recommend this book to anyone that wants to have a laugh and get more acquainted with a pillar of the American comedy circle.

Awesome book where the authors go straight to the point and do their best to confront you with your realities using analogies that may, or not, be from real events but they certainly get their message across. Chapter by chapter, the book takes you through their boot camp of attitude, commitment, and attention span. I guess there are times where the content becomes a little bit repetitive but there is always a twist that makes every chapter unique. It is a long book and by the end, there are parts of the book that you have forgotten already. I guess this book could have been two books easily.

You really have to be "in the mood" to listen to this book. I thought it will propose a bunch of scenarios of things that matter in life and they really picked the most unimportant scenarios and proposed new alternatives and analyzed how would that take place in real life. I did not get anything from the book and after 3 hours I had to stop and go to something else. It is not bad per se, the narrator tries to make the best out of content that is quite "unimportant". As I said, you have to be in the mood to really squeeze anything from this book.
