Overall, I guess it would be a good book, but it's just not for me. i'm just glad I didn't use a credit for it.

While the performance was excellent, This was a whole book about everybody knowing something but nobody knowing anything.
There was just too much unexplained in the book about the characters. With so many things happening to the main characters and Around them I found them to be to naive and accepting of events without explanation.

Awkward

I got the message. But it wasn't delivered well. The only way I can describe this book is as awkward. I believe the author tried to be profound But overreached his message . Just too many inconsistencies which made the listening experience just really weird.

Too much snark too much Inner dialog.. Too much theatrics And not enough substance for a solid story line. The narrator was very good though considering what he had to work with.

A solid disappointment.

The narrator's the only good thing about this read.. The storyline Started out strong and interesting And would have continued to stay that way if the author had done something other than make the MC a complete horn dog. There was no chapter that you couldn't read in this that the main character wasn't thinking about slinging some D. The author must have gotten his ideas from watching B rated 1980s porn.
I will be getting my money back.

Fantastic

I have been thoroughly entertained by by each of these books in this series I was so glad that I chose the 1st one that came free Every additional credit that I have used on Each book afterwards has been well spent. I also like that these books are 15 hours plus. I hope when I'm finished with this series that I can find another one that's just as entertaining.

Frustrating and disappointing

This could have been a really good book but the female lead was continuously whiny and needy immediately although she portrayed being a strong woman that could handle herself she continuously fell back Not knowing any survival skills and continue to be unable to save herself. I really didn't understand how she could be an assassin but continuously complained about not knowing how to defend herself. I really didn't understand why she continued to hesitate at every single turn when it came down to her being independent and self sufficientIt was a hard listen I kept waiting for it to improve and for her to stand up for herself and I for herself and I was disappointed at every turnI am really glad this book was free

A struggle to finish

It would have been a really great book if it didn't center around Is the main characters love interest. Because of this it was a struggle to finish
I'm always looking for sci fi military that has a strong female lead. This should have been in the romance novel category. Thank goodness it was free I will not be listening to the next books if there anything like this one

I'm glad that this book was free and that I didn't use credits I read the reviews and tried to give it a shot anyway. At chapter 5 I still didn't know what i was listening to. I don't know I just got finished listening to all of Nathan Lowell's And maybe I'm jaded because those were great and I expected to find something to fall behind it But this is a no all around no solid story line that you can follow . No Solid character personalities Just a solid no.
