Much rambling

I think that if you like the style, you'll absolutely love it, but if not it's really annoying. For me there was so much rambling about uninteresting things, for someone else I think those passages are probably poetic sweets sprinkled throughout. I was really glad when it was over.

Murder mystery but also a way to process #metoo

The murder mystery is entwined with metoo commentary from a lot different angles. I was surprised of how interesting it was to hear different perspectives. Being a teenager in the 90s, there was so much to relate to as well.
I read a lot of murder mysteries and it was nice to have a side topic as well.

Can't hear what Thrawn says

Potentially a good story but I had to quit because I can't hear what Thrawn is saying. The narrator whispers all of his dialog and unless it's completely quiet around me, I don't hear a thing.
Sometimes they even put sound effects on top of it

It's a fun story and a lovely bit of entertainment.
The narrator is not doing a very good job at making different voices for different characters so dialogues are a bit hard to follow. But that's ok because the story works anyway

This is a book with an agreeable pace and a captivating story. Lovely characters, sprinkled with humor and with interesting reflections on habits and life.

One of those books I will recommend to everyone I meet.

Ocean's eleven in Star Wars

Where does Scoundrels: Star Wars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Marc Thompson is an amazing narrator and Timothy Zahn a great Star Wars author. The story in this book is slightly less captivating than the Thrawn trilogy.

This is a nice immersion in the Star Wars world without all of the fuss about jedi and the force. The story is basically Ocean's eleven (in a good way). It has the suspense, the twists and turns and interesting characters.
I only rated 4 on the story because it's not Thrawn trilogy captivating and the concept feels a bit copied but Zahn is still providing a good story.
