A classic course on political philosophy, arguably, one of the greatest!

I still remember first listening to this course when it was on cassette tapes.
I borrowed it from the Harold Washington Public Library in Chicago. That was around 1994.
30 years has passed since I first listened, and countless times that I relistened and still the course never loses it's brilliance and power.
If you asked me which is the greatest audio lecture ever produced by the Teaching Company, Dennis Dalton's Power over People, would be my first choice.
A truly remarkable achievement by Professor Dennis Dalton.
A true great course, by a truly great teacher.

I just could not get enough of HPLS's Dark Adventure radio dramatizations of HP Lovecraft's stories or stories influenced by Lovecraft.
Simply, the best.
Some listeners might not like the old radio format, but, I love it.
They are my most listened too and anticipated release in Audible.
The beauty of these adaptations is you feel like you are part of the ride.
The closest feeling listening to them is like watching, The Raiders of the Lost Ark, for the first time.
Intoxicating and exhilarating!!
I bet, Lovecraft himself would give these radio dramatizations two big thumbs up!!

The HPLS Dark Adventure audio dramatizations of Lovecraft's works are some of the most outstanding and entertaining adaptations of Lovecraft's works.
In fact, I think, they set the standard on how to dramatized Lovecraft's works on radio.
The superlative production quality from the actors and sound effects are just amazing.
These audio dramatizations will stand the test of time, and will be appreciated for generations by any person who loves the stories and genius of Lovecraft.
Thank you HPLS for producing these gems and Audible for offering them.
These productions never fail to excite my imagination and I just love listening and relistening to them.

It's assumed to be a 24-hour thing until people get home and discover strange skin lesions, which ulcerate and turn septic. More people start getting ill - and dying.

The cure was staring them on the face!!
It was, BLEACH!!
Political sarcasm aside, this BBC radio drama, which was written by McDermid specifically for the BBC on 2017, almost 2 years before the Covid Plague started, was a tour de force.
There were so many scenarios in this drama that depressingly mirrored humanity's response to the Covid Plague.
From initially downplaying the seriousness of the disease, to government incompetence, and cowardice on the part of scientists who knew better.
Highly recommended!!!

It never fails to amaze me, how talented and good the people who make the HPLHS.
These audio dramatization mainly of HP Lovecraft's stories, are hands down, the very best that you can listen too.
I own all the Dark Adventure Radio audio dramatizations.
Not all of them are equal, but ALL are exceptionally produced and the performances are really good.
None of the productions are boring.
Personally, these adaptations are very creative, entertaining and fun to listen too.
They are faithful to the stories, but have their own unique humor and production qualities.
I just really love listening to them.
Very much recommended.
I hope HPLHS, makes more!!!

The greatest cosmic horror story ever written.
This is a great version.
Capturing, that, "sense of dread," that HP Lovecraft mentioned as the key hallmark of a truly great horror story.

Better than the BBC version.
The 3D production gave me a totally immersive experience.
It was 8K cinema in my ears.
