Historia
Just my luck - my new next door neighbor is a unicorn. Yep, the British hottie is clearly a mythical man because - get this - he's a sexy, witty, charming, big-hearted single dad. Who, wait for it, wants to find Mrs. Right and get hitched. He’s a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of man, and it’s a darn shame I’m not on the market. If I were, his accent alone would melt me. Add in the fact that he's a veterinarian, and my animal-loving heart would be flip flopping.

Got to about 70% and DNF
Revisado: 12-10-21
DNF. Couldn’t get into this one. Guy is looking for wife and mother. Girl is looking forward to teenage daughter leaving home. I don’t like books when the couple clearly has such different expectations. It is ok for the girl to say she has raised her child and is ready to no longer be a full time care giver. Both need to find different partners. I can’t see this relationship lasting

Felix Mays has only two goals in life - to play his cello and to stay off heroin. He’s only a few weeks out of rehab and accomplishing both - barely. Then Felix meets gorgeous Jenna Rollins, single mom and half of the rising pop-star duo Alec and Jenna, who’ve practically been voted LA’s cutest couple. Jenna offers Felix a job with the band, and it’s an opportunity he can’t refuse, even though his feelings for Jenna are quickly turning romantic.

Long burning bad instalove
Revisado: 12-08-21
Boring nothing. What bothered me about this book is the belief you could only have an emotional connection by having sex. What about friendship first. What about supporting each other and being there for each other. I got to half of the book and couldn’t listen anymore. The pity me I just got hired by a hot band but can’t have sex with the lead singer. I can completely understand why Alex was upset. Jenna and Alex had an image. Live with it. Plus Felix just got out of rehab he was transferring his obsession to Jenna rather than figuring it out on his own. I kept looking at the clock and said I’m only 1/4 the way?!? At 1/2 point I called it quit. That is unfortunate because I loved Gabby and AnnMaries stories.

Historia
When we were young, Samantha Anderson was the girl down the street. For as long as I remember, she’s been my partner in crime, in adventures, and in almost everything. Sami is fun and sexy, my greatest confidant, and my best friend. From early on, we vow that our relationship will never change - through thick and thin, we’ll remain always and forever in the friend zone. We will not cross that line. After all, I’m not a forever kind of guy. Then that line blurs. We amend our agreement. Best friends become friends with benefits.

Two rather immature people
Revisado: 12-01-21
Sami and Marshall both are immature and annoying and deserve each other. Sami is so fixated at having a husband. She acknowledged that Jackson was running the show and demanding. She willingly spends a huge amount of money on a wedding that her parents can’t afford. Marshall is all about sex. That is all he thinks about and talks about. I got tired of his every other word in his POV being dick, pussy, cock, etc. I have a HUGE problem with them not going to the police about what they found. They have an obligation to let the police know. Instead in typical immature fashion it is all about them.

When Clara comes across a unit that was once owned by an escort service, she finds the brothel "resume" of a younger Caspian Tiddleswich...an astonishingly famous British actor. Clara manages to track down Caspian's contact info, intending to reassure him that her lips are sealed.

Interested premised H&H both have issues
Revisado: 11-25-21
Very interesting premise but the H&H were irritating. while the H was justifiably mad and upset it was clearly a simple misunderstanding. I have a serious problem with him dropping Clara off late at night at a subway stop. I have a problem with Clara believing she could go to prison. After all there was no extortion or blackmail. Also in order for that to occur Caspian would have to admit to the secret. The ending was pretty good. I do like that Clara actually stood up for herself and told caspian off he deserved it. I don’t know if the couple will last it would be nice to believe so but caspian clearly has serious trust issues. I’m surious trust issues. I’m sure at some point he will question Clara’s honesty again.

A Christian mess
Revisado: 10-22-21
andi is my favorite narrator and go to for many audiobooks. This story was too preachy and unrealistic. I am a Christian and hate when authors characterize Christian’s. Christians typically dot go around saying “god will provide” and thanking his mercy constantly. Plus Clare’s concerns about KISSING was outlandish. The story itself was pointless. She his chasing a letter written 35 years ago. Really! She could have simply gone to the deeds office and researched who owned the house in 1972. Finally what year is it?!? In one place it sounds like it is modern times but other it feels old. Time frame doesn’t make sense at all.

I’ve loved Ryson for as long as I can remember. He stole my heart on set when we were teenagers and hasn’t let it go since. It hasn’t always been easy being Hollywood’s hottest couple, but it’s always been worth it. Until now. I never thought anything could come between us. I never imagined a scenario where Ryson and I wouldn’t be together...but here we are, living out my worst nightmare. And in the public eye, no less.

Nice listen
Revisado: 10-10-21
Great listen. Very emotional. My only complaint was the sudden ending. I really wish it had been a little longer. There were unresolved issues between Quinn and Risen that i didn’t think were answered. I downloaded the other books in the series and will listen to them.

Historia
The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that. But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I’d ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I’m shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me. That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny. And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk.

Revisado: 09-27-21
Lucy says that she is fine with her body but clearly she isn’t. She constantly puts herself down and judges other people. She thinks Frankie is an idiot and clueless. I find her lack of self esteem offputting. Her father is a reknown therapist and should have recognized Lucy self drustruxtive behavior and language. Also he should have identified that his nickname of muffin may be counter productive. The narrators male voice was off putting.

Historia
There are three things you need to know about Fiona Archer...I would tell you what they are, but then I'd have to kill you. But I can tell you that Fiona's husband - the always irrepressible and often cantankerous Greg Archer - is desperately in love with his wife. He aches for her when they are apart, and is insatiable when they are together. Yet as the years pass, Greg has begun to suspect that Fiona is a ninja. A ninja mom. A ninja wife. A ninja friend. After 14 years of marriage, Greg is trying not to panic.

Different then the blurb
Revisado: 08-29-21
Husband and wives is my favorite troupe but I didn’t particularly car for this one. I had listened to the prequel so I was very excited for this book. Greg is a royal a-hole. I found he was very dismissive of Fiona. The book blurb said Greg was concerned Fiona was fading away. That is NOT what this book is about. Instead he repeatedly dismissed Fiona’s contribution and skills. Greg was more intent on showing he could do it all and got them in bad situations. Had Greg listened to Fiona from the beginning the second half of the book wouldn’t have occurred. I question their marriage. They never spent enough time together to fully understand each other. I felt like the two of them were still in the long distances dating scene rather than a married couple. I don’t see the two of them lasting. Instead Fiona needs a partner.

Historia
Gracie Reed is doing just fine. Sure, she was fired by her overly “friendly” boss, and yes, she still hasn’t gotten her mother into the nursing home of their dreams, but she’s healthy, she’s (somewhat) happy, and she’s (mostly) holding it all together. But when a mysterious SUV pulls up beside her, revealing Chinese cinema's golden couple Wei Fangli and Sam Yao, Gracie’s world is turned on its head. The famous actress has a proposition: Due to their uncanny resemblance, Fangli wants Gracie to be her stand-in.

This book was amazing. The story was interesting. While it was very clear what the shock would be I enjoyed Gracie, Fan Wei, and Sams interaction. The funny thing is I am spending the summer in Toronto so it was great to hear about what am seeing.

Historia
If my childhood taught me anything, it was to survive. Now I have a deep-rooted mistrust of people and a wall of steel and ice surrounding my heart. So, when Reed Ryan steps into my life, I know I need to keep him far away. He’s everything I grew up hating. Fighting. Fleeing. Devastatingly handsome, he looks like a drunken regret and has heartbreak written over every inch of his body - literally. He’s the quintessential bad boy...and he’s a cop. But the man is my undoing.

Got to about 1/2 of the book and just couldn’t listen anymore. Emily is too much a victim. I actually didn’t care for reed or Lala reaction to Emily and her past struggles. I thought Lala should have been more understanding. Nora was irritating. Yes she is only 6 but I thought everyone babied her too much
