Historia
When Sergeant Major Morris brings a mummified monkey’s paw to the White family, they embrace it as a morbid curiosity. When they learn that an old Fakir has enchanted the paw, they continue to treat the thing lightly. But the workings of the paw, once set in motion, cannot be undone, no matter what they try.

If you or someone you know has OCD then READ THIS BOOK
Revisado: 03-27-18
I absolutely love this book, it made me feel less alone and the author’s voice is very authentic and honest. It takes courage to tell others how you’re feeling and the book does exactly that. You are basically reading from the perspective of someone else... looking through someone’s eyes into their life. If you, or anyone you know, has OCD, then I highly recommend this book to you. It gives great insight to how it feels to grow up with OCD and the daily struggles. It can put you in someone else’s OCD shoes and you can begin to really appreciate what people with OCD actually have to go through... the torture, it’s mortifying. I have OCD and I hate it so freaking much. But anyway, like I said, I feel this book does a really good job with informing others on what it’s like to live with this debilitating illness.

I don’t know. Any other person listening until the end of this book would conclude that Gareth Farnham is a bastard. But frankly, I can’t seem to hate him, I feel bad for him at the very end, basically, I feel that medical attention psychologically is what will do good for him. And I feel that it wasn’t fair how he got framed for something he didn’t do, he should still be jailed, but for the right reasons. I feel that Billy didn’t seek justice because Gareth is jailed for something he didn’t do and Jeb (Cassie’s brother) just gets away with it like that. I wish everyone in the book knew the truth of what really happened. Also, I feel that if I were to be in Rose Tinsley’s position I’d fall for Gareth Farnham just as fast, the writer did a good job in creating such an charming and enchanting antagonist.

Historia
All her life, Lesley Carpenter has been haunted by a gruesome nursery rhyme - "The Scottish Bride" - sung to her by her great grandmother. To find out more about its origins, Lesley visits the mysterious Isobel Warrender, the current hereditary owner of Linden Manor, a grand house with centuries of murky history surrounding it. But her visit transforms into a nightmare when Lesley sees the ghost of the Scottish bride herself, a sight that, according to the rhyme, means certain death.

I don’t know... I mean... I really don’t know 😳 what the hell just happened? 😂 if you want to be surprised by the ending, get this audiobook. I’m kinda, I don’t know what to say, the ending is kind of annoying, like... why? I don’t know why but I’m pissed off. Like do you ever get that feeling when you listen to a story and you just get super pissed off but you can’t really pinpoint what is pissing you off? Like I’m annoyed right now.

THE ENDING WAS AMAZING I LOVED IT
Revisado: 12-14-17
The author, B. A. Paris, was just wow in this book. I can’t get over how amazing the ending was. The ending was perfect. It’s so hard for me to say why this book was amazing without spoiling it for others who haven’t heard it yet. Just take it from me, if you absolutely love and adore the suspense and psychological thriller genres just as much as I do, I HIGHLY recommend this book.
