Amazing insight
Revisado: 01-27-24
CJ is right on. It’s about the journey. As a person inflicted with Parkinson’s for almost 10 years, I can say that learning to rest, eating properly and living a life of moving has been revolutionary to say the least. I cannot sing his praises enough and this book is the result of his research, documented studies and sound advice in a world that tells me the opposite. Thanks Chris. Well said.

Even as Judy shared her heart from her own story, she draws the reader’s heart to be transparent with others. Her warrior heart expresses how the battle is fought; prayerfully and fierce.

Historia
In In Order to Live, Yeonmi Park shines a light not just into the darkest corners of life in North Korea, describing the deprivation and deception she endured and which millions of North Korean people continue to endure to this day, but also onto her own most painful and difficult memories. She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship before they finally made their way to Seoul, South Korea - and to freedom.

Amazing story
Revisado: 10-20-21
I sit in awe of a story well spoken by a bruised and broken precious young woman who never deserved the pain and abuse she experienced. May she continue to live above her circumstances and freely express the truth about her life. May God protect her every word and every step as she lives, not out of her wounds but out of her heart set free.

Historia
Luis' first book sparked a national conversation about service dogs and PTSD. In this spectacular new memoir, he and Tuesday bring their healing mission to the next level, showing how these beautifully trained animals can assist soldiers, veterans, and many others with disabilities. Rescuing a forgotten Tuskegee airman. Battling obstinate VA bureaucrats. Delivering solace to troubled war heroes and their families. Everywhere these two go, they highlight the miraculous talents of service dogs.

Inspiring, touching, sobering
Revisado: 06-05-17
Luis expresses so many things in relatable ways to yet another soldier who suffers from PTSD. He was my inspiration to find my own service dog, Freedom. After reading this inspiring book, I am again reminded of Luis' passions to assist others. I can't help but think of the crying of his own heart for community or "pack" as he would have put it. It's a reminder for all of us to reach out to those in our own pack who on the outside appear to have it all together. When in truth, they are hurting. Just like all of us.

Historia
In The Case for Grace, Lee offers an accessible explanation of the theology of God's grace, shown through the incredible, dramatic, can't-put-it-down stories of people whose lives were changed by the gift of grace--true accounts of people whose transformation and renewal are so radical that they seem to be best explained as the work of a gracious God.

Grace explodes
Revisado: 12-10-16
Lee does an amazing job of weaving many people's individual grace journeys into a theologically sound book that I am sure to read again. I am referring this great book to many of my friends. We are all broken... and we all need an unlimited supply of grace.
