Not bad.
Revisado: 08-25-21
I learned something new that I did not already know. Because of that, can't say it was a bad read. His delivery was clear and concise which was nice. Didn't spend alot of time on storytelling, and got straight to the point. Overall, it's worth it.

Speak your mind, no matter what..
Revisado: 12-06-19
Very insightful, learned something new from an unlikely source. The fact that he chose to narrate HIS OWN book, speaks volumes. It stuck with me on a deeper level, to hear the author discuss his issues himself. Life lessons showcase both positive and negative, glad to see someone openly discuss the negative, more than the positive. I know longer look at him as "TV Personality, simply because, he spoke his mind, no matter what.

Historia
In most sports the pinnacle is Wheaties-box notoriety. But in the world of pool, notoriety is the last thing a hustler desires. Such is the dilemma that faces one Danny Basavich, an affable, generously proportioned Jewish kid from Jersey, who flounders through high school until he discovers the one thing he excels at - the felt - and hits the road.

Overall impressive.

It's hard to find anything about pool, with a story to it. I like how he brought it to life, and included actual pool halls I've played at. It was crazy to hear you're local pool hall mentioned in a book.
