Historia
Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. One little solar flare happens and suddenly you find yourself 85 years in the future. Eighty-five years from your dream job. Your ailing mother whose only companion in this world is you. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. But when June’s cell phone inexplicably picks up a signal, she’s able to call back to the present—more specifically, four weeks before she accidentally time traveled.

Historia
Lark Smith has always had a plan for her life: find a fantastic guy, create a marriage as blissful as her parents’, pop out a couple of kids, and build a rewarding career as an oncologist. Things aren’t going so well. For one, the guy didn’t work out. Theoretically, she’d love to find someone else, but it hasn’t happened. Two, she’s just been transferred out of Oncology for being too emotional. (Is it her fault she’s a weeper?) Three, her parents just split up. Deviating from the plan was … well, not in the plan. A potential solution comes from the foul-tempered surgeon Lorenzo Santini.

I’m a big Higgins fan but this one… oh boy. So my love and healing and grief and growth and forgiveness.
Also I love how a lot of stories are unpredictable. Keeps you Pm your toes.

Historia
Colleen O’Rourke is in love with love … just not when it comes to herself. Most nights, she can be found behind the bar at the Manningsport, New York, tavern she owns with her twin brother, doling out romantic advice to the lovelorn, mixing martinis and staying more or less happily single. See, ten years ago, Lucas Campbell broke her heart … an experience Colleen doesn’t want to have again, thanks. Since then, she’s been happy with a fling here and there, some elite-level flirting and playing matchmaker to her friends.

MUST-READ
Revisado: 06-25-23
This is a window into the abusive mind not just from a theoretical standpoint but also from someone who has worked with abusive people. I can’t even start to explain how life changing this book is. I wish I had read it while I was in the abusive relationship but even now years later it gave me validation and understanding and tools to move forward. I’ve already put some of the recommendations into practice. Honestly the chapter on recognizing early signs of abuse should be read by anyone who’s starting to date even as a teenager. It also provides a lot of insight into how to be support system of an abused partner.
I’ve done intense therapy and work after my divorce and there is still content in this book that was like light bulb. MAZING BIOK

Historia
It's been over a decade since Nora left her hometown of Scupper Island, Maine, and very seldom looked back. She's carved out a successful life in Boston, where no one knows her as the awkward girl with the delinquent sister and the dad who left, but a not-as-dramatic-as-it-sounds brush with death has her taking stock of her life. Inspired to reconnect with her prickly mother and snarky teenage niece, Nora returns home for the summer, where she's forced to face the people she's spent the last ten years trying to avoid.

Beautiful story about trauma, healing, forgiveness, redemption, dysfunctional family, and love. As a health care provider was also very impressed with accuracy of medical issues discussed. Overall amazing and I love this narrator, second time I listened to her and absolutely loved her.

I thought I was going for romcom but no this is a a deep and beautiful story about self love, generational healing, setting boundaries, pain, and forgiveness. Absolutely loved it and cried few times. Loved the Jenny narration, but Rachel was just painful to listen to.

In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

It’s not just the art of storytelling with this book, it’s the art of wrestling with the most raw and uncomfortable emotions and experiences. Can’t say enough about how amazing this book is. I was expecting great, but I wasn’t expecting THIS. Masterpiece

Historia
Straitlaced Evelyn and reformed bad boy Marco might make an unlikely pair, but the two lovebirds couldn’t be more head over heels for each other. Sure, they’ve had some missed calls along the way, but all that’s in the past. They’ve got their sights set on forever, and the next stop is a walk down the aisle in front of their friends and family. It’s the big day, and everyone’s gathered to watch Marco and Evelyn say "I do". Everyone except Evelyn that is. Is the bride running late or running? The surprising answer might just be in their voicemails.

It kept me busy while cleaning over the weekend, other than that had no value. I actually liked the performance unlike others but the story is baseless. Just insult to listeners’ intelligence
