This was a very intriguing and detailed book about a boys love of reading and the road to the truth. The book weaves an adventurous tale using history and imagination while traveling for the truth of Aizai. The twists and turns will keep you listening. When you think you have figured out what is happening, the author takes you on another adventure through time, both past and future. Wolfdon is adamant on finding Aizai and will not stop for anything until he finds it! I am looking forward to reading the next book to see what Wolfdon finds and what his adventure will entail.

Informative and Interesting!

The author,being the grandson of the defense for Caril Fugate, brings to light the behind the scene account of the case. Lots of facts that were not known at the time of the trial. This book brings you closer to the 14 year old girl who was involved with a troubled boy, and how she was a “victim” and not the accomplice she was sentenced for. The author narration makes this a more personal account of this case.
If you like court cases and the inner workings of defending a defendant that is young and vulnerable this is for you! Good interesting read!!

This series is one everyone will find familiar. The events can and do mimic what is happening in the world today. The plus is there is a conclusion! I can't wait to continue listening to this series.

Monster or internally anguished?

Being able to have the view point of the killer is an added bonus to a book. Listening to his anguish almost makes one feel sorry for him. It brings to question, are some psychopaths internally hateful of themselves? Do some actually want to be “normal”. Interesting read that makes one think!

I received this audiobook to review and I'm so glad I did. The storyline is not only romantic and funny but has some twists you don't expect. The narrator's voices really bring the characters to life.
This book is a no brainier read!

Absolutely Loved This Book!!!

Narrators Tracy Marks and D.C. Cole bring to life Alana Shelton and Mitchell Davies and the rest of the characters in true fashion.

When insecure sheltered 27 year old Alana visits her friend Kate in Richmond she never imagines she will begin the journey of her life.

Mitchell Davies the lead guitarist of Reckless Beat has no clue that during their small Thank You concert for their fans, that he is going to start questioning his own life.

Mitchell shows Alana that she is stronger than she realizes, both in and out of bed. Her strength is needed and tested when she is faced with the truth of her devastating past.

Mitchell, the Rock God, realizes he's not so secure when off stage. At least when Alana isn't around.

I want to tell more but then I will ruin your listening experience! My advice is listen to this 1st installment of the Reckless Beat Series! Find out...

If Alana is strong enough to face her devastating past, just what is her past?

Will Mitchell choose to make music alone or will he realize music is much better with a good woman?

Also, the rest of the band members will have you hooked just as I am!
