Mel is so real.....

new to Mel and love her style. I have learned a lot that has helped me .After loosing a child, it is easy to want to give up. Mel slaps you right out of your pooh party, and lifts the clouds so you can see the path right in front of you!

I have never bought a political or celebrity tell all before, but something called out to me from the title. I always wondered about this woman who could take brutal and unfair attacks day in and day out for doing her job. Thank you SHS for letting us in to the backstage area of your personal journey to who you are today.

I think everyone should read your book and take away what I did. How it is ok to be a mom, have a career, outwardly love God, and show us old fashioned loyalty, the way things use to be. Well done!

Best Read in last several years!

So very well written. Historical fiction at its best. descriptions so well done everything comes into vivid view. A mystery you will not guess before the very end. I listen to a lot of books, and rarely review them for lack of time - but I felt compelled to write this review because this book was just so darn good coupled with a narrator that hit the mark spot on. This book has everything - a mystery to solve - interesting characters - and unpredictable changes in direction. The vocabulary - the accuracy of the historical elements all well done. I highly recommended listen!

Good story - narration blah

I liked the story and characters. I am an audio book loyalist at about 4 per month and have to say I had to push myself thru the voice over the narrator. The men sounded like they needed chicken soup and vicks....will avoid her annunciation on future purchases. To the writer however, nice job.

super funny, super hot!

I enjoy this authors style of 2 narrators, and going back and forth with their thoughts. what is particularly great about this story is the sense if humor injected into the characters thoughts and words. I wasn't expecting to literally laugh out loud at some of the lines, but boy did I! will definately look for more from Ms.Chase.

I dont want to ruin it for others so wont give up the details, but. I really enjoyed how this book in series tied up the who family tree, going back in time...then forward beyond the last book. well done.

after reading other books I was a bit overwhelmed. this one truly gives you easy, modern, practical ways to practice with out all the full length film type instructions! nice!

Not worth a dollar!

I consider this a reference type book. if a chapter is 7 mins long you get maybe 2 mins if talking and 5 of hindu type music in there background. Not worth your time or money.
