Bad Choice

I tried to finish listening to the book, but despite my best efforts I only made it to the 4th hour. Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind when listening to it, but I had an impossibe time connecting with it. The cadence and tone of the author as narrator sounded almost like a computer synthesized voice, making it difficult to concentrate on his words without being distracted by other thoughts.

This is a short audiobook. It does not give terribly much insight or discussion about leadership technique or philosophy. Rather, it's a series what feels like bullet pointed leadership ideas the author has gathered in his experience. I think it's an OK book if you need a quick listen to reinvigorate your leadership. It 's not the book you'll want if you are attempting to develop as a new leader or a leadership philosophy.
