This is revolutionary and a must for anyone who is in recovery. I’m so grateful I got to hear this and I will definitely be rereading parts and sharing. I work in mental health and this was such an incredible insight not only into addiction but looking from the perspective of a neurodevelopment disorder rather than a moral or disease model.

Great info for anyone, but I heard every missed take. A sound editor must finish the last few chapters because the stopping and starting after each take are all left in. The rough cut is live, and I don't want it to detract from the incredible Information that this book tackles.

This book is outstanding. I’ve listened to it multiple times for all the kernels of wisdom, humor, foresight, advice, clarity and evolution. RuPaul is an amalgamation of genius, vanguard, spiritual powerhouse and literally leaves an indelible imprint on the fabric of culture. RuPaul is my Warhol, my Bowie, My Joan of Arc, my Joan Crawford, this book was everything I needed to hear at this moment right now. And if you are in a 12 step program, LGBTQ+ this is a must. Thank u Mama Ru. I love you too.
