Historia
How did a New York-born, Jewish, former-atheist novelist and screenwriter - a winner of multiple Edgar Awards, whose books became films with Clint Eastwood and Michael Douglas - find himself at the age of 50 being baptized and confessing Jesus as Lord? That's a tale worth telling.

Boring
Revisado: 09-25-18
I really thought from the other reviews that this would be a great story. Overall, this is a very boring story. Andrew had an interesting idea to start a great book, but he’s way too egotistical to relate with any normal reader. My favorite part of the book is when he admits he doesn’t know something (how to pray); otherwise, he’s more interested in showing off how much he knows. Also, why wait until the last 30 minutes of the book to discuss your conversion? Wasn’t that the whole idea of the book? Instead you chose to tell us every detail of your life, and make the reader feel totally unable to relate to your story at all.

Little laughs throughout
Revisado: 08-26-15
Would you consider the audio edition of The King's Taster to be better than the print version?
The only thing you miss in the print, is the unique and beautiful illustrations. Otherwise, great in audio.
Which character – as performed by Fred Berman – was your favorite?
How can you not love a talking dog that humans can't understand?
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Catapulting food!
Any additional comments?
Wish this wasn't the author's only young children's book.
