Historia
If educators’ realities are filtered through the belief that they can do very little to influence student achievement, then it is likely these beliefs will manifest in their practice. The solution? Collective efficacy (CE)—the belief that, through collective actions, educators can influence student outcomes and increase achievement. Educators with high efficacy show greater effort and persistence, willingness to try new teaching approaches, and attend more closely to struggling students’ needs. This book presents practical strategies and tools for increasing student achievement.

Teachers, You Need This!
Revisado: 11-08-23
With collective efficacy having an effect size of d=1.57 this information is vital for teachers. It is a book I will reread or listen to every year to help me adjust my practice. It would be a great resource for principals and teams to build collective efficacy school-wide. The book mentions a lot of resources in the appendix. I am wondering how to get those with Audible. I would love to get my hands on those.

Historia
Imagine if you made one little mistake when you were young and were punished for it for the rest of your life. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. We meet Lydia just as she is denounced by her family, exiled miles from home, and married to the rogue George Wickham, who seems to love all women...except his own wife.

I wanted more!!!
Revisado: 09-23-22
Like so many who have already left a review I enjoyed the story and the voice talent but didn’t love the rock music in this period piece. I wish the story were longer. I found myself wanting more. Sarah Page, what happens to Lydia???
