Excellent. Just excellent.
Revisado: 02-19-24
In typical Kristin Hannah fashion, she is able to take true events and put it into a story that captivates me from the first chapter. Once again, she proved why she’s my favorite author. The narrator read the story perfectly too.

Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

Revisado: 09-21-23
Jill’s story is vulnerable, honest and transparent. Thank you Jill for writing your story. I read Jinger’s book too and it was just as well written.

Historia
Eleanor, the charming manager of a cozy tea shop, enjoys the transportive ritual of making a cup of Masala Chai tea, reminisces about the tea's origins, and delights in the beauty of her quaint English village during the holidays. Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

Excellent to fall asleep
Revisado: 07-03-20
I have yet to finish listening to the full story. I’m asleep every time in 10-15 minutes. Usually it takes me 30-45 minutes to fall asleep on my own. This gentle story lulls me right to sleep.

Historia
Beginning in the predawn hours of airports in the Northeast, we meet the ticket agents who unknowingly usher terrorists onto their flights, and the flight attendants inside the hijacked planes. In New York City, first responders confront a scene of unimaginable horror at the Twin Towers. From a secret bunker underneath the White House, officials watch for incoming planes on radar. Aboard the small number of unarmed fighter jets in the air, pilots make a pact to fly into a hijacked airliner if necessary to bring it down.

Thank you
Revisado: 03-04-20
I was 18, first semester of college when 9/11 happened. It was so devastating and scary I couldn’t fully grasp what that day meant except I knew it meant we were at war. I have always loved our country, but now that I have listened to this book I have a deeper appreciation to our country. The sacrifices people made, the testimonies shared, the love people showed to strangers. I am grateful this book was made into an audible.

Loved it!
Revisado: 09-21-19
I’ve always complained about authors who aren’t creative enough when they’ve been given the gift of writing. I enjoyed this writing so much that I am ready to read another book of hers. I found this book because I love the narrator and was searching for more that she narrates. This is my 5th book I’ve listened to narrated by Heather Masters, she performed flawlessly.
The story was exactly the type I love reading. Young adult thrown into fairytale stories. I’d love to find more fun stories like this one.

Revisado: 09-08-19
This is a clean, well written story about an older sister who goes above and beyond for her sick brother. I’m 36 and loved listening to this story. I picked this book because I have listened to other books narrated by Heather Masters so I knew she’d do a great job.

Excellent way to learn history
Revisado: 06-08-19
I’ve never been a history seeker, mainly because it’s always been presented in a boring, lifeless manner. Killing Reagan was so well written I enjoyed it in just 3 days. I listened with earbuds because after hearing one curse word I didn’t want my young children hearing any others. I recall 3 curse words throughout the book, but each one was involved in a quote.
The narrator did a wonderful job and the authors wrote in a way that made me love history. I’m ready for more.
