Historia
1. How to find a way to live in peace: to actually love complicated parents without compromising our love for ourselves. 2. How we can’t change our past—and why Ashley says that forgiveness is accepting the fact that the past is never going to be different. 3. The importance of being able to hold two truths at the same time: that, for some of us, our parents did the best they could—and it wasn’t close to good enough. 4. Why Ashley says she struggles, even in adulthood, to accept love and care from people who are not obligated to love and care for her. 5. Why anger often reveals our ...

The universe and divine spirit know just when to drop thing into your lap and smack your heart with messages you need to hear.
After a very hard 4 year break up and sitting with emotions that are breaking my heart, both these podcasts were what I needed to hear. I still need to sit longer, and marinate as these feelings are deep and are not healed and will take a very long time to deal with but —- Forgiveness is giving up on an idea that something was going to be different is where I need to get to in time.—-
Thank you for the honest, genuine, grit… we can do hard things.

Historia
Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, ...

Genuine and real!
Revisado: 06-20-21
This podcast is my absolute favorite! Hits home on so many real hard things but also joyful things that come from the hard. I find myself really deeply listening, laughing and identifying not only with myself, but those in my life as well that these topics hit home on. Thank you for your honest grit, and laughter but also the ability to see the rainbow through the hard issues. I really love this podcast!!! Keep it up!!!

Historia
Brandi Carlile was born into a musically gifted, impoverished family on the outskirts of Seattle and grew up in a constant state of change, moving from house to house, trailer to trailer, 14 times in as many years. Though imperfect in every way, her dysfunctional childhood was as beautiful as it was strange, and as nurturing as it was difficult. At the age of five, Brandi contracted bacterial meningitis, which almost took her life, leaving an indelible mark on her formative years and altering her journey into young adulthood.

Absolutely beautiful!
Revisado: 05-09-21
I am such a fan. Yes you hands down have one of the most beautiful voices in this world and your talent is stunning.
But more so, and I don’t even know you but you and I have said this to so many people... you are stripped down, so genuine. You represent so many of us in the world. Lovers of music, people, animals, and the want for what is right in this world.
Thank you for a glimpse into your heart and soul and for your talent and for connecting with us, especially your lgbtq family that feel so much of your journey through acceptance in thyself, the spiritual world and your place in this world!
Keep touching lives! You’re touching so many!
Peace and namaste!
