I loved the going back and forth with the 2 time periods. Rich character development. Took me awhile to get into the book, but couldn't stop listening as I could see the story develop. Wonderful reading performance.

Liked it all, but especially Liked the author's idea of humans' value in life and our passage to the next world... a new twist on an often discussed topic. I especially enjoyed the portrayal of the Manager who really didn't have all the answers.
