The unvarnished language depicting a fraction of the challenges facing our marines in the Pacific.
Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
NA
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The Pacific... (Playtime currently has a film by this name based upon this book)

Revisado: 10-29-15
What made the experience of listening to The Red Circle: My Life in the Navy SEAL Sniper Corps and How I Trained America's Deadliest Marksmen the most enjoyable?
Audio version transitioned between author interview and chapters providing some deeper insight.
What other book might you compare The Red Circle: My Life in the Navy SEAL Sniper Corps and How I Trained America's Deadliest Marksmen to and why?
Men with Green Faces .
What about Jon Bailey’s performance did you like?
Clear and articulated well. Audio often repeated itself as if there was an error or complication of takes of particular sections of the book. The audio would make a statement then repeat the same statement as if an edited version was added and not cut in properly. Small criticism but overall solid experience.

laugh a few times.

Historia
Still considered one of the best books ever written about bullfighting, Death in the Afternoon reflects Hemingway's belief that bullfighting was more than mere sport. Here he describes and explains the technical aspects of this dangerous ritual, and "the emotional and spiritual intensity and pure classic beauty that can be produced by a man, an animal, and a piece of scarlet serge draped on a stick."

Death in the Afternoon.
Revisado: 10-19-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Excellent delivery of the classic Hemingway granular narration of the art, pageantry and culture of the bullfight and Matador culture. Very drawn out at times, but that is what one would expect from Hemingway. Brilliant use of narration and auditory selection of Boyd Gaines was a solid choice for the story as he seemed to capture and relay the emotion or lack there of at times that the author seemed to be illustrating. Nice read/listen.
Have you listened to any of Boyd Gaines’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was a fine presentation
