Historia
Mark, Todd, and Zola came to law school to change the world, to make it a better place. But now, as third-year students, these close friends realize they have been duped. They all borrowed heavily to attend a third-tier, for-profit law school so mediocre that its graduates rarely pass the bar exam, let alone get good jobs. And when they learn that their school is one of a chain owned by a shady New York hedge-fund operator who also happens to own a bank specializing in student loans, the three know they have been caught up in The Great Law School Scam.

Just like the original Gresham!
Revisado: 01-17-18
I was so happy that John Grisham was writing like his old self. The book had a few twist in the plot, a little deception on the parts of the players and some humor. Just the way he used to write and I really enjoyed it

Excellent
Revisado: 04-08-17
This book was by far the best I have listened to in many years. I am sure much of my enjoyment that I derived from this publication is due to being born and growing up in this general area but the content and the presentation draw you in to the life of the main characters and you find yourself living and in my case relating to the majority of not only the lifestyle but yes the politics of the Natchez Mississippi Area and of the tumultuous times of the late 60s in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Historia
It has been six years since entertainment agent Myron Bolitar last played superhero. In six years he hasn't thrown a punch. He hasn't held, much less fired, a gun. He hasn't called his friend Win, still the scariest man he knows, to back him up or get him out of trouble. All that is about to change...because of a promise.

Three books, three opinions
Revisado: 01-31-17
Feeling the need to explain my opinion about this audio book with three titles. The first was horrible narration by the author. The second, "Promise Me" was a decent book but not impressed with narration as book before. Then "Live Wire", excellent narration, excellent book. It keeps you on your toes. So, maybe they should be listened to at different times and /or days in order, as "live wire" was very good in all respects!!

This book is so different from the ones with Risotto and Associates! I thoroughly enjoyed a different perspective and subject matter. I highly recommend and know that each reader will enjoy the twists and turns later in the book!

He is unfit for duty - until he meets his new partner. Maggie is not doing so well, either. The German shepherd survived three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan sniffing explosives before she lost her handler to an IED and sniper attack, and her PTSD is as bad as Scott’s. Crais' Best!!
Revisado: 01-29-16
In my opinion this is the best I have read in Robert Crais Collection! As a owner of four German shepherds I find this book particularly enjoyable as he clearly and correctly defines the mindset, stature and performance of the police canines. Kudos to this author for accurately representing the German Shepherd dog and police work. Like this author I am also from Louisiana but I'm also the wife of a retired police officer and as previously mentioned a true lover and owner of German Shepherds! Excellent book!

An insult to Louisiana
Revisado: 01-05-16
Story is disjointed and a bit rambling. The accents and mispronunciation of names and some words truly pathetic! You would think they would have gotten the correct pronunciation before recording!

Meeting daily in the prison law library, taking exercise walks in their boxer shorts, these judges-turned-felons can reminisce about old court cases, dispense a little jailhouse justice, and contemplate where their lives went wrong.

A little ridiculous
Revisado: 07-13-15
I find this book a little ridiculous and over-the-top. My husband is a retired cop and nothing gets under your skin more than the miss use of terms and ridiculous scenarios.
