Honestly, I binged on all 3 books because the plot was exciting and fast paced. It was unique and unpredictable. Plus, Julia Whelan as the narrator made it even better!

The storyline is new and refreshing. As a literary piece - the words used are captivating and fluid and, at some points, mesmerizing. I also really enjoyed the narrator's voice.

Good character development led me to believe that this was going to build into a good story. However, there were too many random things that kept happening, so the story never really built up. It was just all a bunch of really weird occurrences without rhyme or reason. I will not be moving on.

I just cannot believe I never bothered to read this book, thinking it would be set like a diary. How wrong I was! Truly this was a treat - a fulfilling journey full of words that opened up a magnificent world of images! Delightful!
Kudos to Rachel McAdams for a perfect performance!

I was happy that first book was clean and very entertaining for a family to listen to together. This book gets pretty descriptive in a couple of places - so beware of the audience around you.

I had never read Goose Girl. I am so happy I chose to listen to this full cast audio. I was transported back to being a child without a care in the world and being read to. As an adult, I decided to give myself this comforting treat at bedtime so that I could be whisked away and have delightful dreams. The narrator had such a soothing voice and the rest of the cast did wonderfully. Treat yourself to real relaxation by unwinding the day's troubles and becoming entranced with a good story!

I only pushed through so I could get to book 2 where I knew this good story could be saved by narrator Kevin Pierce. It was torture, but it is finally done. I wish I could have got it for free.
Idea: just ask Kevin Pierce to read the first one and replace the original narrator!
