Druidry and Wicca are the two great streams of Western Pagan tradition. Both traditions are experiencing a renaissance all over the world, as more and more people seek a spirituality rooted in a love of nature and the land. Increasingly, listeners are combining the ideas of both traditions to craft their own spiritual practice. In this down-to-earth, inspiring guide, Philip Carr-Gomm offers a name for this Path that draws on the common beliefs and practices of Wicca and Druidry: DruidCraft.

Came here for druid history

Got a completely different outlook on Wiccan/druid practice. Eye opening and very positive. I'm not into organized religion at all coming from a Christian background everyone has always told me that Christianity it's just a bunch of rules.. but reading this book made me think that there are more rules in Wiccan rituals! I'm a little ignorant on exactly how rituals work and what special herbs you have to use for what spell or blessing. it all sounds so complicated. but I do enjoy how this book really focuses on intention. I love the stories about the God that was able to heal all ailments and envy being his downfall that was beautiful. I love that the relationship with nature is a strong priority in the practice well. Definitely not a lot of druid history, no human sacrifice or wicker man, but definitely a good read.

Good over all summarized review on Celtics mythology. I came here to learn more about human sacrifice, but they didn't cover that in depth, but over all the book was good. The short stories were nice too.
