So different than what I was expecting

I'm not really sure WHAT I was expecting, but it wasn't this. I enjoyed the plot and the various developments between the characters. I found them engaging and believable. There are, at this point, a limited number of ratings and those are right in the middle. I rate this a bit higher than that and plan to read the next two available books in the series. I would like to know more about these characters.

Fun, quirky characters

I quite enjoyed this book. The characters were developed and fun and very quirky. Lot of laugh out loud moments buried in a interesting story with several twists.

Fun quirky book

I enjoyed the quirky characters and the dogged determination to prove the killers. There was a somewhat disturbing and unnecessary sexual scene that did nothing to advance the plot. I will read the next and see how it goes.

This one is probably the weakest in the series to date. The plots were a bit thin and predictable. Fans of the series will almost assuredly want to read this installment as the characters continue to develop but other books have been better.

I love Walt Longmire. But this book was tedious, somewhat disconnected (more than the change of time frame) and I resent the cliffhanger. Not sure I will read the next one.
