I Can't Believe How Much This Book Has Helped Me!!

Great read for anyone with a stressed mind
Revisado: 08-07-19
As an engineer who works long hours on some days, days can be very stressful. So I have been looking for many resources to help me deal with all the stress I am getting from work. I stumbled on this book when looking through Amazon, and I decided to give it a try.
I have been listening to this audiobook to and from work, and was able to go through it within four days. This audiobook offers very practical advice that can be easily applied into everyday life. At the beginning, this audiobook goes into a deep analysis about what stress is and how it affects the body and mind.
After listening to this audiobook for quite some time, I have found the most beneficial part of the book to be the short one, five, and ten minute exercises to relieve stress practically. These are in and of itself very useful to apply easy to do techniques into your daily habit and routine. So far I am listening to this audiobook for a second time, and find that listening to the whole audiobook again helps with getting the information into your head a lot better.
Overall, I highly recommend this a lot to anyone who is going through stress in their daily life and wants to find a place to start!

Good resource to help with your communication
Revisado: 07-04-19
This audiobook is clear, concise, and to the point. For the past several months, I have been trying to learn to improve my communication skills. I learned a lot of practical techniques that you can apply to help with your communication skills. I have been listening to this book in the car during my long commutes to work.
Especially this audiobook caters to those who want to improve their communication in controversial topics such as politics and race, such as myself. Since a lot of resources that teach effective communication are more generalized, I am glad to have found this audiobook that caters to these more controversial and uncomfortable topics.
What I like the most about this book/audiobook is that there are a several example dialogues for certain situations. These example dialogues really help teach the material and techniques in the book. As a visual learner, I found those dialogues to be very helpful.
This book is a good starting place for anyone who wants to learn the bare essentials of becoming a better communicator. As this audiobook is just a source of information, you still need to take action to apply these pearls of wisdom into your daily communication habit.

Are you tired of worrying about what other people think about you all the time? Have you been served the wrong sandwich at the diner but you shut up and eat it anyway because you’re too nervous and don’t want to be a bother? We all have our inner critics, and we all care about what other people might think of us, but sometimes our inner critic becomes too overwhelming and we start worrying too much, and it interferes with our daily lives like in our jobs, our interactions with our family and friends, and when we go out in crowded places.

Great place to start for those with social anxiety
Revisado: 03-25-19
This audiobook has a lot of great information and techniques about social anxiety and how to overcome it. As a 24 year old male, I have had social anxiety ever since I was 14 years old. It had affected my social life and social interactions for the longest time. So I found this audiobook/book is very helpful in learning background information as well as techniques on how to overcome social anxiety. Keep in mind that this book/audiobook can cater to both males and females with social anxiety.
This audiobook/book goes into detail with background information about what social anxiety is. Then it also goes into detail about ways on how to deal with social anxiety and puts the issues into perspective. The author also includes anecdotes about her experience, which was very helpful to me. It is great to know that she understands the pain points that her readers with social anxiety have.
I highly recommend this audiobook/book for anyone who has social anxiety, especially those who are looking for a place to start on their journey to overcoming social anxiety. This book is also a good supplemental resource for those who are seeking help, either with a therapist or a support group.
