Historia
In I’m Your Emotional Support Animal, Adam Carolla examines how our culture went careening off a cliff. We used to have one that created real warriors who fought world wars. Now it spawns social justice warriors who fight Twitter wars. He takes on those who are traumatized by Trump and “emotional support animal” owners who proclaim their victimhood at every airport. He stands up for the collateral damage of the #MeToo movement and for freedom of speech on “safe space” filled college campuses.

Adam Carolla at his best!
Revisado: 07-02-20
Adam Carolla is the most woke of them all! He can see the moves on the chess board play out before the rest of us have even made a move. His humor keeps the tragedy of our current reality palatable, even laughable. I loved his irreverent insights and politically incorrect truths. His ability to craft a story/joke and casual delivery make this book so much fun to listen to, you will be sad when it is finished and wanting more of his biting wisdom.

Great book for anyone dealing depression

Lots of great studies and information I could use but didn't care for his political opinions scattered here and there throughout the book.

Must read for anyone with chronic pain or illness
Revisado: 08-27-16
I've had fibromyalgia for 4 years now. Just being able to understand what is happening in my brain and how it is affecting my pain had allowed me to actually reduce some of the chronic pain and increased my energy levels. I even have some hippie that I can continue with what I've learned and get to the point where I can enjoy time with my friends and family again. maybe even get back to work!

Historia
Expanding upon one of the most-read New York Times Magazine features of 2012, Smarter penetrates the hot new field of intelligence research to reveal what researchers call a revolution in human intellectual abilities. Shattering decades of dogma, scientists began publishing studies in 2008 showing that "fluid intelligence" - the ability to learn, solve novel problems, and get to the heart of things - can be increased through training. But is it all just hype?

Don't waste your time.
Revisado: 05-18-16
It started off promising, fell off quickly and never recovered.
I could write a book on why you shouldn't waste your time with this, so to keep it short, I've already lost 9 hours of my life to this book and I'm dumber for it.
