Revisado: 02-13-22
Couldn't stop listening, the narrator, John Lee is one of the best, his character depictions are so incredibly believable. The story continues and Ill not provide any spoilers, I will say that from beginning to its exciting end this book will have you on the edge of your seat. A 5 star performance all-round.

Historia
The end came fast for Lieutenant Nathan Ward. One moment he was participating in an international convention of mounted police officers, the next he was in a command bunker watching the world’s two biggest corporations - Obsidian and Teledyne - destroy it in an exchange of nuclear hellfire. While Columbia, Missouri, was spared a direct strike, a near-miss EMP fried most of the vehicles and the electrical grid. Then the corporations started a shooting war in the streets, and they didn’t care who got caught in the crossfire. But Columbia was one of the last cities still standing.

Outstanding
Revisado: 06-25-21
The fallen world continues as bespoken by the great Mark Boyett. the multiple stories of a fallen world. only one word describes this series "OUTSTANDING"
(Concerning the next book, I downloaded book 8, after the prolog by Mr. Boyett a young lady took over for the rest of the book. Unfortunately her lack of reading abilities were so obvious that it totally spoiled the book, so much so that I had to return the book. If she is used in the next book, well, I wont be downloading any further books in this series. WHAT A TOTAL SHAME)

An outstanding Series with outstanding presenters
Revisado: 05-19-21
A well written story that builds with each book, to an outstanding and surprising conclusion. The story was helped 100% by the best team of presenters. As individual presenters Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are without betters but as a team, WOW. Thank you again Audible for an excellent read.

Revisado: 04-07-20
I found this story incredibly boring, I lost interest after 30 minutes and fell asleep and stopped listening after 1 hour. If I ever wanted to either watch grass grow or wanted to watch paint drying on the wall then this is what I will listen to, sorry -5 out of 10

I had to stop listening
Revisado: 03-31-20
I must admit, I lasted twenty minutes into this book, I know, it is written by one of my best authors Jack Campbell and, the story was probably as outstanding as his other books. Im sorry, I couldn't put up with the atrocious quality of reading, One tone, inflection upwards at the end of each sentence. The reader was just terrible, I couldn't put up with her voice any further. Please Audible Please get this book reproduced and presented by someone else please.

Not for me
Revisado: 12-08-19
I didn't like the story, the start where a fairy is having sex with an old man and has sticky tacky feelings between her legs is, well, Yuck. The performer didn't portray the characters in a professional way and I personally wont be listening to any books that she reads again. Sorry but this was just not my "cup of tea"

The story of the adventures of the mythical hero Gilgamesh is the most considerable literary production that has come down to us from ancient Babylonia. Unfortunately, it was not preserved in complete form. This recording is of the fullest translation which had yet been issued in English when it was first published in 1917.

Historia
The end has come. The army of the silent ones is sweeping across the land, annihilating towns and cities, slaughtering all they encounter. In a desperate bid to save the lives of uncounted innocents, the allied forces of elf, dwarf, and human must face these savage and seemingly unstoppable warriors. But the silent ones are unlike any enemy the people of Lumnia have faced before - corrupted and made enormously strong by the vile magic of Shinzan. They do not care who is friend or who is foe.
