Fun to read
Revisado: 07-01-17
I wanted to have something light and entertaining to listen and this was a good choice. The story was flowing nicely and it was interesting. It was not very exciting or intellectual but it was not boring. It was like a chocolate chip cookie, after listening it, I would like to have an other.

Historia
There are 206 bones in the human body. Forensic anthropologists know them intimately, can read in them stories of brief or long lives and use them to reconstruct every kind of violent end. 206 Bones opens with Tempe regaining consciousness and discovering that she is in some kind of very small, very dark, very cold enclosed space. She is bound, hands to feet. Who wants Tempe dead, or at least out of the way, and why? Tempe begins slowly to reconstruct...

It took a long time to finish.
Revisado: 12-01-16
This is quite a long book and perhaps not so suitable for audio. The main clues were at least for me, difficult to spot. The book left me feeling sad, it was quite dark most of the time.

Again again
Revisado: 05-26-15
This book is like the American TV documents where they have 15 minutes worth of material but the slot is 60 minutes. I liked very much the earlier book so I was hoping this book is as good, but I am sorry to say I didn't like this so much. There is not very much new information and the writer seems to repeat himself often.
If you have not read earlier book you can find this book interesting and I think the message is important. Perhaps a shorter format would be more effective.

Maybe you're troubled by the disconnect between the words you speak and the life you live. Maybe you'd like to see your faith become more active and life-changing in the world around you. Pastor Kerry and Chris Shook felt that way. Even though their calling involved preaching and teaching, they became weary of sermons and words. They felt a gap between what they were saying and the needs of people around them. They decided to do something about it.

We need to be the message!
Revisado: 05-08-15
This book is giving a valuable message and I was very happy that I bought this book. So often we use only words to convey our message and it is not so effective. Being one with your message is very important and what you are is more important than what you say.
I am not sure I liked the idea of different speakers in this audio book. I think it didn't add anything it just confused me. It was just a little irritation and the message in this book is so important that I recommend this book.

Interesting addition to the Shack
Revisado: 04-27-15
I like to read books that makes me think and this book gave me many ideas. Often I was quite surprised what Mr Olson said about the Shack, but many times he has good Biblical reasons behind what he is saying. This kind of book could be quite heavy and boring, but I think it is interesting and I wanted to listen it quickly, there was often interesting surprises behind a corner.
I must say there is things I don't agree with Mr Olson, but even in those points he has probably better arguments than me.

Historia
God without religion? Andrew Farley’s experience as a Christian was first characterized by self-effort as he tried to please God at any cost. His ruthless religion resulted in spiritual fatigue and disillusionment with church. Only then did he discover what relaxing in Jesus means and how enjoying God’s intimate presence can transform everyday life. Using a story-driven format, God without Religion dismantles common religious misconceptions. Pulling no punches, Andrew shows how the truth about these controversial issues can liberate and unify believers....

Important to hear
Revisado: 03-23-15
I think this book was just right for this moment for me. I bought it some time ago but didn't have time to listen it but it answers many questions that I have had. The book gave me many ideas. I think this is a book many Christians should read.
I liked the book but I feel like something is missing. There are many good illustrations and it is good for me but I felt like it does not quite tell how the Christian life looks like without religion. Perhaps it is intestinal as we need to find a way for ourselves.

Important message
Revisado: 02-28-15
I learned many things from the book. There is several stories of real people, sometimes quite graphic, but they add the message in a good way.
This is a good book about Holy Spirit and I think important to all Christians. This book answers well the question why we need Holy Spirit.

My children do this
Revisado: 10-09-13
The title is very good and the author uses many examples from his family life to illustrate how we can get closer to God. But then I am not sure if I like to hear all the time what is children did when they were younger, I was looking for little bit more solid teaching. The author seems to like telling stories and I am sure many listeners like them, but this time it did not attract me so much.

Historia
When Harriet Vane attends her Oxford reunion, known as the "Gaudy", the prim academic setting is haunted by a rash of bizarre pranks: scrawled obscenities, burnt effigies, and poison-pen letters - including one that says, "Ask your boyfriend with the title if he likes arsenic in his soup." Some of the notes threaten murder and one of them involves a long Latin quotation, which makes Harriet suspect that the perpetrator is probably a member of the Senior Common Room. But which of the apparently rational, respectable dons could be committing such crazed acts?

Romantic mystery
Revisado: 10-09-13
I do like lord Peter Wimsey books and I think this is second best book in my list. This recording is a short version with multiple talents and in a few places I miss the book. I think it is a good production and I really enjoyed it. I think this kind of audio is more suited to listen at home and not so well during commuting.
By the way if you like to know what is the best lord Peter book in my list, it is "Busman's Honeymoon". Too bad that it is not available in Audible.com.

Historia
Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future? That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy? That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America? That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come? Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - these same Nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications.

What is coming
Revisado: 03-11-13
This book has been a best seller and I have been interested. The format of the book suits very well as an audio book. I wonder if it would be little better with more separation of the voices. In the beginning of the book I felt that the main character did not feel like a journalist, he was quite naive but I think the book got better later.
This book is not so much a prophetic book as it mainly gives an explonation why things has happened. Perhaps many people do not know the Bible so this can be a challange for your mind. There was new information for me and new point of view. So it is an interesting book and I recommend it.
