This book convinces the reader that it requires more faith to be an atheist than it does to believe in Christianity in a very compelling way.

Kash brings the reader right along side as he experiences the chaos of President Trump’s first term, and how the Establishment tried to take him down. He gives you a front-and-center experience of the corruption within our government. Scary stuff, but thank God the public is becoming aware. Kash did the public a great service by releasing this book. With Donald Trump’s reelection, and with Kash’s nomination as FBI Director, we can only be hopeful and optimistic that this corruption can be dealt a deathblow! I am excited!

Such a wonderful book. Captures you from the very beginning and leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole booke through.

This book is highly educational, informative, and captivating. It’s amazing the impact Jesus Christ had on the world. This book addresses the most important known faiths that sprung from Jesus Christ’s life and resurrection. “Proto orthodox“ Christianity “won the battle” over Christian theology, but it is fascinating to learn of the other branches of Christianity that were in conflict. And it’s so disappointing that we have so few of their original scriptures. Bart Ehrman is among the most credentialed scholars in New Testament history, and it shows when you read this book. Matthew Kugler does a fantastic job of narration. His enthusiasm and voice inflection draw in the listener. Highly recommend this audio book. A+

The narration is so unbelievably monotone the entire book it is so hard to maintain attention, and easy to miss important details. The way it sounds in the sample listening is exactly how it sounds the ENTIRE READING… with little/ no inflection. 🤮 The information provided is abundant… impossible to memorize, but very informative. The book starts with emphasis on how Constantine changed the world… yet I ended the book not clear exactly how so. It’s less of a story and more of an account or deposition.

Bart Ehrman at his best

I am a Christian, and I love listening to Bart Ehrman despite his agnostic bend. He is a grade-A scholar of Christian antiquity and more. He is enthusiastic, compelling, and presents his lectures in a way that is easy to understand and appreciate. The only complaints that I have had about his approach did not occur in this lecture series, which is his treatment of the supernatural (claiming that a historian can accept miracles or supernatural events the way a naturalist or scientist cannot, but in the same breath saying that they can’t be considered because there’s nothing to compare them to). Highly recommend this lecture series. Highly educational. I’ve already ordered his translation of the apostolic fathers, volumes one and two.

I’m not sold. 302 is not redeemed

302 was a piddly wolf. Just because he did a few good things and ran his own pack at the end of his life does not redeem him for the selfish, disappointing way he lived his entire life. Many of his own kin died because he was such a coward. This book was quite the stretch to claim that he in any way should be listed with the great wolves of Yellowstone. It seemed it was forced just because 302 ended up being a popular wolf because of the documentaries about him, so this book was written to satisfy his fans. 👎

Tells the story of a wolf and his family in human terms

For folks who follow the yellowstone wolf community, Rick McIntyre is an icon. I first heard of him while reading the book “American wolf.” His wealth of observation and recordkeeping is incredibly valuable, and this book is a small slice of that… Specifically how it relates to Wolf 8. He tells his story with personification and metaphor in a way that connects human beings to wolves so that we can effectively relate to them and their lives. The performance of narration is cut and spliced quite a bit. The recordings sound different so that it almost seems like two different people speaking when audio is spliced. Just a minor irritant to an excellent read.

Edward Abbey, God rest his soul, is in his element with this book. He takes you right with him and intrigues you to adore nature as much as he does. Michael Kramer narrates so well. Recommend.

I had just finished Monkey Wrench Gang before reading this one. Monkey Wrench gang was so good, and was narrated so well by Michael Cramer. It leaves you hanging the end with a yearning to know what happens next. Then this book starts so incredibly slow and 3 years later. There is virtually no fulfillment to the yearning you have at the end of Monkey Wrench Gang. The book is so slow, so boring — nothing like the first one. The end scene was pretty entertaining, but not worth the read getting to that point. I like Danny Campbell, but he had big shoes to fill with the outstanding performance by Michael Cramer in Monkey Wrench Gang. Unfortunately, he was no match. His performance paled in comparison. I highly warn against purchasing this book. Just let your imagination author the sequel. You’ll be much less disappointed.
