The story tries too hard. to be inspirational
Revisado: 03-23-17
The only reason you'll finish this book is to find out if the pirates reach their goals. This is a book that tell two stories, the same two stories but in different settings. One setting is a modern day setting and the other a fantasy nautical setting. I found the modern female character so pretentious and misinformed about people and the world around her. The author seems to use this character to voice his own social views so much so that he comes very close to breaking the 4th wall. There are moment of dialogue were the couple sits and contemplates how corrupt the world and humanity is anf how they are above it all. The pirates on the other hand are a simple lot and the story has no other hidden meaning than what is being told. They are after treasure and freedom and they find love. They are being chased and they need to be clever enough to escape. It was this side story that I put up with the drivel of the other story. The narrator was great and performance wonderful.

Good instructions but poor explanations
Revisado: 05-19-15
The book had a lot of wisdom on what to do but I felt it lacked an explanation on how to do it. It made the comment of not taking things personally but did tell you how to not take that hurtful action personally.
