What I loved the most was learning how the worlds of gritty New York City, Black Achievement, and Gangsterism all came together on the dance floor to spawn so much of the culture that was before my time, but I grew to love.

Is he menacingly stroking a cat while reading?

I can’t tell if the author is this snobby and cynical, or if the narrator just interpreted the text as written by a Bond villain.
It’s so hard to discern who needs the enema, but I’m pretty sure it will be artisanal.
