Historia
Joe Goldberg is done with the cities. He’s done with the muck and the posers, done with Love. Now he’s saying hello to nature, to simple pleasures on a cozy island in the Pacific Northwest. For the first time in a long time, he can just breathe. He gets a job at the local library—he does know a thing or two about books—and that’s where he meets her: Mary Kay DiMarco. Librarian. Joe won’t meddle, he will not obsess. He’ll win her the old-fashioned way . . . by providing a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand.

Lost Joe’s voice
Revisado: 12-28-21
I am a diehard You fan. I became fascinated with Joe when the book first released, well before the Netflix show and before Kepnes was even on the map. I remember peddling You to anyone and everyone that would listen. It was THAT good. Hidden Bodies wasn’t on the same level but still a solid 4/5 stars. This one however, “You Love Me”… I can’t in good conscience recommend it to anyone. This isn’t one of those “it’ll get better the more times you read it” either. It’s as if Kepnes lost Joe’s voice and tried to evolve her writing with that off based tv show and morph the two. Making Joe out to be the “good one” and twisting Love and basically excluding everything we’ve come to enjoy about Joe. I was ready to delve into the sick and twisted mind of Joe and instead, the book ended and I was left utterly disappointed.
