Likable and relatable characters, even though I’m not an engineer
Revisado: 10-01-24
I liked it all surprisingly-very interesting and intriguing and I usually don’t listen to the genre, but I really really enjoyed it.

Historia
So what if it's true that Black women are mad as hell? They have the right to be. In the Black feminist tradition of Audre Lorde, Brittney Cooper reminds us that anger is a powerful source of energy that can give us the strength to keep on fighting. Far too often, Black women's anger has been caricatured into an ugly and destructive force that threatens the civility and social fabric of American democracy. But Cooper shows us that there is more to the story than that.

All women should read this
Revisado: 08-05-20
As a white woman with hispanic background with a history of being raised in the southern baptist church, who never really understood or meshed with white american feminism, but wanted desperately to be a feminist and stand up for women. This book opened my eyes to what feminism is really. It also taught me how to bring my understanding of racist and sexistsocieties together with my present thoughts. It helped me to understand my black sisters and really understand more about feminism and womanhood and how the paternalistic and racist society we live in tramples others. I recommend this to anyone. you will learn something you did not know and could benefit from knowing.
