Full disclosure, I am already a fan of Dennis Taylors Bobiverse series.
Great origins story and is super fun while not overly serious or heavy with the Sci-Fi. But the pace, characters and storyline flowed for me very well. Similar in AI components to Craig Alanson's Skippy but different enough that I wasn't bored.
All I can say is when is book 2 coming out, I am a fan.

20 hours never went by so fast and easy

This book is another masterpiece in this series. I absolutely love the humor and drama weaved into these stories. 20 hours is long for an audio book but the time passed in a blink while listening to this one. It was over before I knew it and I am starving for the next chapter. There are many many great authors and audiobooks out there. But the ease with how these stories flow and pull me in is astounding.

Craig Alanson has a way with words like few other authors. Every book in this series just grabs me and doesn't let go until the end. This book is no exception. Simply put...an excellent addition to this series.

What made the experience of listening to Columbus Day the most enjoyable?
It started off like a normal sci-fi book but the 2nd half totally changed that. What a great interplay between the 2 main characters. I was cheering and ROFL.

The series at a whole is at the top of my all time favorites, right up there with Kevin Hearne and BV Larson.
