Don’t waste your time
Revisado: 12-11-19
Horrible narration. It sounds like someone is scolding you for 4 hours and it is almost impossible to tell which character is “talking” in the dialog as all sound identical. The main female character was wining and basically complaining of a circumstance she herself was recreating. Skip and pick anything else. I promise it will be better than this.

I asked for his criteria for bed buddies - that's the PG version. He swore at me and said he didn’t do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start. Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder. Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation. He’s also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.

Touching book about grief, accepting support and learning how to be happy again. I loved Reese from the beginning and the whole network of friends. Well worth the time and the tears.

Historia
After making a bad decision when she was very young, Kia Clementine finds herself in hell. Then, suddenly, within the time it takes for a shotgun to blast, her hell changes. Completely. Then, out of the blue, she sees Sampson Cooper, her celebrity crush. A man the whole world knows is decent. A man the world knows is loyal. A man the world knows is good. All of these very unlike her now dead husband. He's sitting at a table right next to hers.

Abuse is Abuse
Revisado: 02-19-16
I wanted to like this story. This is the first novel by Kristen Ashley I have tried and am not happy with the purchase.
The main character has been in an abusive relationship for 7 years. When she meets the male lead who immediately is aggressive and controlling. He within days of knowing her begins to make all of her life decisions. I believe the author is trying to spin this behavior as "good controlling" but when the male lead continues to back her into a corner (literally) and not acknowledge her request for personal space, it is uncomfortable.
I did not like their relationship and found myself continuously wishing she would realize this new relationship was not allowing her to be her own person.
I also took issue with the dialog. It could be the delivery of the audible but I found that with the aggression of the main character they also made it so that he was unable to have a conversation without swearing or using stereotypical touch guy speech.

Wonderful
Revisado: 02-18-16
Although it was written towards a YA audience it was a heartwarming well told story. Where She Went covers a 24 hour period of time using flash backs to explain the background. It is the sequel to If I Stay but I believe you could read this independently as enough information on the prior story is shared.
I am not normally a fan of the flashback novel but this author doesn't spend too much time in each memory allowing for the present day to progress at a decent pace. I found myself wishing the story wouldn't end.
This is my first experience with this narartor and enjoyed his performance of the book.

Historia
When post-grad Rachael Hamilton accidentally gate-crashes a pro-athlete party, she ends up face-to-face with Ryan Carter, the NFL's most beloved quarterback. While most girls would be thrilled to meet the attractive young millionaire, Rachael would rather spend time with books than at sporting events, and she has more important things to worry about than romance—like her parents pressuring her to leave her unpaid publishing internship for law school.

Cute story - Horrible Narrator
Revisado: 10-18-13
Rush Me is a sweet love story about an unlikely couple. There is nothing too deep or surprising in the story line. I almost turned it off after the first chapter because of the overly perky reading but Allison Parr’s story was entertaining enough to look past the horrible narration.

Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night. But behind the scenes, a fierce competition is underway - a duel between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, who have been trained since childhood expressly for this purpose by their mercurial instructors.

Boring book without plot
Revisado: 10-18-13
Jim Dale's narration is the only thing I enjoyed about this book.
There was no plot. I didn't care or feel for any of the many characters in the story. I read the endlessly descriptive book waiting for the promised competition or "story" to begin. If the competition was to be the center of the story or if anything interesting happed at all to warrant all the positive feedback this book gets in review, I must have been asleep. Save your credit.

One word....Boring
Revisado: 09-03-13
I normally enjoy Julie Garwood but I found this story incredibly boring. The main character Lyra is a film student and the continued description of her work and the “importance” of her day to day activities wore on me. I found it monotonous.

Patricia Briggs... Enough said.
Revisado: 08-03-13
Great series. I love Anna and Charles and the Mercy Thompson/ Alpha & Omega worlds. Honestly anything that Patricia Briggs writes I will buy, she is an excellent writer.
Holter Graham is my favorite narrator based on his work on this series. This novella first appeared in "On the prowl" and honestly was the only part of that novel that was worth reading. I was glad when she chose to sell this story individually. Although it is not necessary for you to read Mercy Thompson or this novella before reading Cry Wolf, it does help in understanding the overall plot.
Not very long so I would just buy and save your credit, but definitely worth a purchase.

Veers from the standard romance template and brings a story with heart. I was emotionally invested in this story and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great narration by Kirsten Potter. Maya Banks definitely has found her genre with her Highlander novels. Buy this one and listen to it again and again.

Leila's psychic abilities have been failing her, and now she isn't sure what the future holds. If that weren't enough, her lover, Vlad, has been acting distant. Though Leila is a mere mortal, she's also a modern woman who refuses to accept the cold-shoulder treatment forever - especially from the darkly handsome vampire who still won't admit that he loves her.... Soon circumstances send Leila back to the carnival circuit, where tragedy strikes.

My favorite Jeaniene Frost book
Revisado: 08-02-13
Jeanine Front books are my guilty pleasure. I love the fantasy, strong males and complete escapism. I might be in the minority but I prefer the Night Prince series over the Night Huntress series and mainly because Leila is more likeable than Cat.
As with all Jeanine Frost novels, it is not a nice and sweet world but one of betrayal and violence. She does ground the story by keeping the relationship or love between the characters as an absolute.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys modern fantasy, Vamps, magic and wants to escape reality for a few hours.
