I am a huge Sibby Stan and I am so happy to finally hear more of her story. I read the Haunting/Hunting duet already and was always curious to hear about how Sibby got to where she is and this story does a great job explaining it. I still want to know where she goes at the end of Hunting Adeline but this book was a great read to find out how she ends up with Zade and Addy.

The concept of this book was ok but the story was overall very boring as far as dark romances go. The spice was lackluster and the ending made no sense. It took me forever to finish this book because it is simply boring. The voice actor for Connor was overacting in some scenes and just weird and unnatural sounding in others which really took me out of the story. If you are a Haunting/Hunting Adeline girlie go ahead and skip this one.

The Best Book I Have Ever Read

This story was perfect. It is the saddest most heartbreaking story I’ve ever read but also the most beautiful I’ve ever heard. If you like The Fault in Our Stars or Me Before You then you will love this tragic love story. 1000/10 would recommend 💔❤️‍🩹 The narration and depth of feeling in the readers voices make this so much more enjoyable too

The BEST book in the Hathaway series

This story was absolutely perfect! A perfect blend of mystery and heart palpitating romance. In my opinion it’s the greatest book in the entire series and my now favorite of all time Lisa Kleypas book. I highly recommend it. The narrator was also wonderful and made the characters and story leap off the page! I couldn’t stop listening and finished the entire story in one day.

This story was at least 3 hours too long

Very LONG and largely boring story. It took me 2 weeks to finish when I usually get through books in 1-2 days. There was endless unnecessary dialogue and scene setting that made the story stretch on forever. The romance was very bland. The story becomes interesting in the last 3 hours and has a random twist at the end but the ending I did enjoy after all was said and done. I would not recommend this book even if it was free for me to listen. However, if you like mystery over romance than go for it.

What even was this story?

This story was extremely disappointing. It was very boring, the storyline was stale and literally took 9 hours to become interesting. I forced myself to finish the book because I saw that it has good reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The chemistry between the leads was back and forth and had no real foundation, the love scenes were bland and weird, and the story felt like it was 3 hours too long.

Boring and many unanswered questions

This story had too many storylines and did not follow through on them. The story itself was very boring and I found myself just wishing for it to be over. Very disappointing as I enjoyed other books in this series. The narrator was fine, I just wish she had a better story to read

An unexpected treat
