Historia
This sweeping book is a systematic treatment of the historic transformation of the West from limited monarchy to unlimited democracy. Revisionist in nature, it reaches the conclusion that monarchy, with all its failings, is a lesser evil than mass democracy but outlines deficiencies in both as systems of guarding liberty.

Good arguments
Revisado: 04-10-23
Just from a technical standpoint, Hoppe demonstrates a very competent command of the life of his ideas. Rhetorically, it’s difficult to make this subject matter gripping, but if your looking for strong logic and argumentation of the economic and political ideas coming from the Austrian school, this is great.

Ok
Revisado: 03-03-23
I finished it which is worth at least 2 stars. There’s some valuable information and tips in here but the underlying message that we should expect the rest of the world to bend to our needs is something I have a problem with. I prefer to develop courage and resilience while gently raising awareness of the existence of this beautiful but challenging trait.

Historia
Who is THE NOWHERE MAN? He is spoken about only in whispers. He comes to those in greatest need of his protection. There is no enemy he cannot fight. He lives by his own code. He takes no prisoners. His name is Evan Smoak. Taken from a group home when he was young, Evan was raised and trained as an Orphan, an off-the-books black box program designed to create the perfect deniable intelligence asset: An assassin.

Performance

I’ve realized now that every 5 star I’ve ever given to performance should’ve been a 4.

Historia
This adventure in science and imagination, which the Medical Tribune said might herald "a Copernican revolution for the life sciences", leads the listener through unexplored jungles and uncharted aspects of mind to the heart of knowledge. In a first-person narrative of scientific discovery that opens new perspectives on biology, anthropology, and the limits of rationalism, The Cosmic Serpent reveals how startlingly different the world around us appears when we open our minds to it.

An absolutely stunning hypothesis!
Revisado: 01-06-20
What a beautiful exploration into shamanism, mythology, story, biology, DNA and epistemology. He asks and explores the most fascinating questions - a real scientist exploring big unanswered questions without the ego and hubris that normally accompanies the work of many so-called experts in their field.
