Okay for short novel

Story was just ok, lacked detail of surroundings and minimal character development. Some of it is understandable on a book this short but only some of it. That being said the narrator did a great job with what she had to work with and I enjoyed her inflections and clear character distinctions. Overall I would recommend if it’s on sale or included in membership

FINALLY!!

Obviously I’ve loved this 12 book series or I wouldn’t still be here but I am glad it’s over. Not sure how much I’ll be getting into the spinoffs but I have no doubt they’ll be great as well. My only and I mean only complaint is this…. I don’t like when series go on this long and the main characters continue to dodge death in numerous time periods book because it begins to be insulting to our intelligence and we as readers know they’ll be ok because it’s not the final book or end of storyline. I believe 6 books is as far as a story should go or it just becomes a money grab. But again I loved it and applaud RC Bray and Nicholas, kudos my friends, you rock!!!

The adventure of it all.

This was a really fun read overall and I definitely do recommend. The storyline was good although a bit linear and probably could have been told in half the time or even as a short and not missed much by way of importance. That being said I’m still a fan and will definitely be doing more from this author. The narrator was serviceable but a bit lacking in inflection which often allowed my mind to wander and I’d have to rewind a bit to listen again more intently. Annalee Scott would have been a great choice for this book as it’s right in her wheelhouse and I believe she could have made it come alive a bit more. But still, very very good and I look forward to the next and beyond.

Fun Goosebumps feel

I really enjoyed this one. Bex’s idiosyncrasies are so endearing and was brilliantly performed by Mrs. Scott. Has some fun twists and I’m very intrigued to see where the next one goes. Count me in!! 👍🏻

Totally delivered!

This was a great find, the book started off with tension and suspense and never let up. Great character development and the narrator did a superb job of differentiating between the characters voices which I really appreciate as so many don’t leaving the story to go flat and lifeless. Looking forward to more titles from this duo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This was an awesome surprise. After going through the entire Vorkosigan library I decided to try more of her works and although I missed Grover Gardner I thoroughly enjoyed this title and and starting Volume 2 today. Thank you for all you do Louis!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻🤗

Super fun read!

This one came to me in a bit of a backwards fashion as I’m a fan of the Narrators work. When I saw she did something in my genre I had to give it a go. The story has everything I love, an unassuming/unwilling detective, monsters, folklore, and a random tactical special forces presence! It’s a ride that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. 👍🏻👍🏻

Steady and gratifying

So this title kinda came to me in reverse fashion so to speak. Was looking for my next book and didn’t want to commit to anything to grandiose. The narrator did such an amazing job in the last series that I thought why not see what else she’s done and I’m glad I did. This one has a very even keel to it and u done really know where it’s going or what it’s trying to say, that is until the end. It’s a short one so you don’t have to wait all that long to get there but without giving away any spoilers I’ll just say that it got me right in the feels and made me run and hug my wife and tell her how much I love her. So if you’re in the market for a easy read with a bit of intrigue that finishes well, then give this one a go. I’m glad I did. 👍🏻👍🏻
