Historia
In the wake of loss and devastation, Alex must cast aside her grief to seek aid from those who banished the Meyarins long ago. But the proud Tia Aurans care little for the woes of mortals and demand that Alex - and her friends - undergo the Gates of Testing to prove their world is worth saving. With an ancient prophecy looming, Alex must confront the secrets of her past if she is to survive long enough to see the future. For if she returns to Medora without the Tia Aurans by her side, all hope will be lost.

A satisfying end to a wonderful story!
Revisado: 12-30-21
I cannot emphasize enough just how marvelous this series is! It may be a young adult series but it was also just breathtaking in scope and execution! The author whom I haven’t ever heard about until this series found it’s way into my ears and mind, pulled off one of the very best fantasy series I’ve read in my entire life! I’ve been a book junkie since I was around fifth grade lol, and this series immediately pulled me into the world that she created. Then book by book I was drawn deeper and deeper in until far to soon it was over and finished! I never wanted the worlds involved in this series to end and just like our hero I wanted to fight to help save them all. Go ahead and pick this series up, if your like me you won’t regret it a single bit!! Thank you to the author and publishers as well as the narrators involved in this project, you have all made a week and a half of my life fly by with joy, sadness, fury, love, and yes a few tears! Again thank you all! I’ll be re-listening to these over and over again for many years to come!

What a series!!
Revisado: 08-12-21
I can’t stress enough how good this series is, the characters, the story, and now this fifth installment has come to an end and with it I am once again stunned by the scope and breadth these novels cover. I don’t want to give anything away but I will leave you with this final thought, As long as there are Hell Divers they will dive so that humanity survives!!
Thanks again to R.C. Bray who gives this series a voice and narrates the struggle for survival these books describe. Without you something would be lost you make this story live!

Worth the credit
Revisado: 06-18-21
Sometimes at the beginning of this story I was a bit hesitant to keep on going as it has a bit of a slow start, let’s be honest here it was excruciating at first, but as I got to the end of the first novel and the second one began I started to really get into it, as the last book was almost finished I realized I had torn through this entire thing in almost three days and was wanting to hear more. The ending is so bittersweet that I found a few tears in my beard and had to go and have a drink!! Now that is a good story! And if you stick with this one you will understand that sometimes you just have to listen to the whole entire story.

Historia
Noah didn’t expect much from entering the virtual reality world of Asgard’s Fall. Even the danger of the experimental full immersion technology didn’t put him off. It beat living in a nursing home, and it was supposed to let him feel young again...at least until modern medicine and his body gave out. But there was something wrong with Asgard’s Fall. Most of the time, the “gods” running the game didn’t act like AIs were supposed to. Some of the players took things too seriously, like they knew something about the game that Noah didn’t.

Revisado: 05-05-20
I think this is my favorite Dave Willmarth series so far. I love the characters! They good guys are just good! The bad guys are really freaking horrible evil bastards who have just enough of a combo of ego and arrogance to be so incredibly believable! I want to play this game and hang out with the good guys in this story and that is all I’m gonna say! Go on and spend that credit already. This time it is totally worth it!

Historia
The Coldfire trilogy tells a story of discovery and battle against evil on a planet where a force of nature exists that is capable of reshaping the world in response to psychic stimulus. This terrifying force, much like magic, has the power to prey upon the human mind, drawing forth a person's worst nightmare images or most treasured dreams and indiscriminately giving them life. This is the story of two men. They are absolute enemies who must unite to conquer an evil greater than anything their world has ever known.

Spoiler at the end of this review read at your own risk!! I’ll leave a mark so that you can avoid reading it if you don’t want any spoilers lol!!
When I was a young man more than 20 years ago I first found this novel at the library in my small hometown. I remember reading this novel, then it was one of the very first fantasy or science fiction novels that truly captivated my imagination and it sent me on a lifelong journey to find more tales, adventures to while away my days and broaden my mind ever since!
And so I would just like to take a moment and thank the author for creating this seed that has grown within me and the love of books of all kinds that has stemmed from this one story of three men, All very different, some even enemies who come together to help a friend. This story is amazing in its complexity and the development of the characters as they face the trials this journey throws at them and when they set out and find their true enemy they realize some enemies are the very best of friends when purposes are shared!
** Spoilers beyond this point you’ve been warned!!**
And one of the least likely to do so sacrifices himself for their final victory and the very survival of the others, I think a small but profound redemption is given to him that most evil of beings. When he survives that act of selfless sacrifice, and if you read this series you learn the power that sacrifice has there, I for one am sure his survival is because of it. If you’ve read this far in my review I apologize for a bit of a spoiler but honestly it won’t effect the enjoyment you find on the entire story.
**No more Spoilers beyond this line!! LOL!**
Anyhow folks I strongly recommend you purchase this entire series not just this first novel! It was amazing when I read it from one of the first paperbacks! RC Bray is an amazing narrator I was captivated by this performance and I have given it a very deserved five stars! I used a credit for it and I bought the other two myself because I just couldn’t wait another month for the rest of this story!!!
I hope this review was helpful and I love feedback on the few I post so let me know and thanks for reading my long winded but heartfelt review!! Go on and spend that credit already all the other reviews will tell you the same thing this book is worth it!!$

Super good and worth the credit
Revisado: 06-12-19
I have been going through all the LitRPG novels I have purchased over the last few years and reviewing them for everyone. This one is one of my favorites so far. The mc is super smart, the characters catch my mind and I find that I give a shot if they live or die especially Tika and Vic! The world is interesting and I like the fact that we get to learn how it is to live as an NPC. I for one am rooting for the goblins and the players can suck it!
This book is defiantly great folks, go out and use that credit you won’t regret it! LOL!
