Life changing mindset switch!

The principle is so simple yet so powerful! I have definitely spent too much time in the gap! Hearing the difference between these 2 states and a variety of life situations to which they are applied has helped me to truly integrate this mindset! Once the mind expands, it cannot go back! I am grateful for this book and appreciate the content as well as the commentary from both authors after each chapter! Looking forward to all of their collaborations!

This book is great!! Appreciative Inquiry can be used in so many different situations to change the world for the better. Love the stories and examples! They did an excellent job making these ideas usable and accessible

Sounds crazy!

I have to admit, the idea of cold showers sounds so uncomfortable I almost didn’t want to read this. But I was curious how this could make such a difference in anyone’s life, other than saving on heating bills! Jesse makes a great case for trying this icy idea. Now instead of crazy, it feels empowering!! Definitely a great listen!

Refreshingly authentic

I have read many books in this genre, this one definitely stands out! Kelly is clearly strong, knowledgeable, and wise. Yet despite her amazing attributes, she is not preaching or acting like a guru on high. She shares her struggles and journey very candidly. And after her years of her doing the work toward self-love and nurturing her Big Voice, she is open that she hasn’t reached some magical (and unattainable!) nirvana or perfection. But she has gotten much better at managing her triggers and little voice. This book is relatable and real, one we can use to better our lives in a meaningful and sustainable way!

Charming life lessions

This book is a sweet love letter from Chip Franks to his 3 children. The lessons that he wants them to internalize are applicable to all of us! The lessons range from simple (drink more water) to profound (lean into pain and learn from it). Each lesson comes in bight-size pieces so it is very easy to read this book and then refer back to specific sections when you want a reminder (I listened on Audible and then bought the paperback to flip back into it from time to time). Everyone should have this much love poured into them!

You need to read this book!!

I am an avid reader, usually in the health/personal development genre with occasional forays into murder/mystery type fiction, so I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book. There are some books that are just entertaining and some that are thought-provoking and profound, this is one of those rare books that manages to accomplish both of those results very well. It was such an interesting read, I found that I was actually sad when it ended. I've never partied like Party Girl before, it was so interesting to hear the perspectives and insights of the lead character, Amelia. Not just about the (appearance of) glamour, but about the internal feelings going on inside. The author did such an amazing job capturing a very genuine human experience. Amelia wasn't a one-dimensional caricature, not just all good or all bad, she was very real. Sometimes resentful, selfish, and an expert at justifying her out of control behavior, the picture is painted so well, you can almost believe her justifications right along with her. Seeing her mature in a non-linear process (no one gets magically better overnight!) with ups and downs made it feel so tangible and authentic. This book is about way more than parties, drugs, and recovery. This was a journey that you should definitely go on!

Great contribution to the series!

David Osborne is an excellent author! I loved Wealth Can’t Wait, so I was excited to hear his take on the Miracle Morning. He didn’t disappoint! In addition to helping affirm my MM practices, he covered new ground in goal setting and habits. He is open and honest about who is and what he has achieved, which helps foster a sense of connection. A valuable read (and I read a LOT!), definitely worth it’s weight in gold!

This book can’t wait!!

I didn’t realize I fell into more than one of the wealth traps! I had many big ideas swirling around in my head but haven’t been taking specific tactical action steps. I make a comfortable living but I realize I could be doing a lot more to create assets and other forms of income. I read a LOT of books, some good, some not so much. I genuinely recommend this one! I like the personal stories about the authors and the specific action plans given. Even though I’m not in real estate as the authors are (which initially made me hesitant about this one), the ideas are broadly applicable. I’m working on the steps they recommend and I’m going to re-listen in a few months to make sure I’m on track!

This delivers TONS of valuable and applicable content! The strategies make sense and have been thoroughly tested by great entrepreneurs. Easy to understand and follow, can't wait to apply the ELF strategies and have an ELF life!!
