This is a phenomenal audiobook. The writing is superb as it is written in the point of view of Ptolemy, one of Alexander III's closest friends, in a way that is easy to follow and grasp. And of course, Peter Noble absolutely blows me a way with his narration (which to be fair, he is one of the best English language narrator on the planet.)
Just a great book all around. If you're even tangentially interested in historical genre fiction amd ancient history, I highly recommend this book. all of Christian Cameron's works make my job as a carpenter go by so much easier and faster. Fantastic book!

But even these stunning victories only served to buy the Greeks time, as the Persians gathered a new army, returning with overwhelming force to strike the final killing blow. For the Greeks, divided and outnumbered, there was only one possible strategy: attack. And so, in the blazing summer of 479 BC, Arimnestos took up his spear one final time at the Battle of Plataea.

I have to say, this book series is the only series I've ever read or listened to that has gotten me so incredibly emotionally invested. This has to be one of the best endings to any book I've ever read. Between the historically significant events that the characters are involved in and the pure joy that is evoked after the Battle of Salamis, I am truly at a loss of words to accurately describe how I feel right now.
Cheers to you Christian Cameron and Peter Noble for making this absolute masterpiece. I will recommend this series to anyone who will listen to me. Thank you.

The Lesser Evil is officially one of my favorites written by Timothy Zahn and narrated by Marc Thompson. This book ties up so many loose ends and the ending provides a fantastic transition into the newest Thrawn trilogy. Thanks to everyone who brought this book and performance into reality!

Great Book

If you like the story of the Roman late Republic to high Empire, this is a fantastic book. Goldsworthy goes into sufficient detail of certain subjects without getting lost in the minutiae. And as always, Derek Perkins is phenomenal.

Wow. Just Wow. Incredible Book!

I was just touched in a way I never thought I could by a Star Wars novel, and I've read/listened to most of them. This book portrays Asajj Ventress in a way that I never thought of about her. I never believed that I could feel such deep empathy towards the Dathomarian Nightsister/former Sith assassin. Fantastic job Christie Golden and Katie Lucas! Thank you for writing such a great book. And as always, Marc Thompson absolutely kills the narration.
Please give this book a try, it really is amazing.
