Heartbreaking Reality

Can’t believe this happened to women not that long ago. Another shameful part of American History. For the 1.5m women that were forced to give up their babies there should be a day to commemorate this sad period. We should hear these women’s stories. This was an excellent book, I hope she has a follow up on how their lives played out.

Very Relatable

The ebbs and flows of life, careers and relationships. All the while enjoying delicious simple yet complex meals. She leaves you hungry hanging onto her words. Erin even made chicken nuggets appetizing. I hope to get in for a dining experience in Freedom, ME. I admire her courage to share such uncomfortable yet relatable experiences.

Teen to Man

I am thankful for this book. I purchased it 3 years ago but never finished it. We finally did! Shame on me for waiting so long to finish it. Our son is now 17. Nagging, pushing, prodding etc. we did it all wrong. At least we have the rest of his teens to set a new tone as parents. To trust him and let go of our personal anxieties and fears. This author gave us the tools to be successful as parents. Thank you! We purchased the workbook and will be working on this with our son for 20 minutes a day.

A Different Perspective and New Respect

As a woman that has always wanted children. It was nice to get into the head of another independent woman, but, one that doesn't want children. This affected her relationships in a major way. Women need to be respected if they choose to have children or not.

How do I write a review? Viola leaves me speechless. I didn't think that I could love and admire someone I have never met beside of course God and his son Jesus. Viola left nothing off the table. She shared her pain and her love her challenges and triumphs. NO one has a perfect life. For her to share her truth and own it means SO much. Viola, I hope you have time to sit and read these reviews. The main points I took away are to own everything that has happened in my life and use them to grow and help others. Also, to cherish those I love, be present in the now and live life. It is meant to be lived. The importance of clinging to my faith and remember my purpose. wished I had this book at age 16

This book is excellent, I wish I had read this book back when I was a teenager. I am on my second marriage (with success of 7 years). We share the same faith, similar education background, we come we both come from dual parent household. Having all those commonalities and similar values truly does make a difference. We are an interracial couple by the way Byron. I will be reading this to our 15-year-old son and making it a topic of conversation on a regular basis. Thank you Byron!

Loved the book, listened straight through. I did rewind a couple times to take notes and paused to meditate. I was aware some things he discussed in this book but was more inspired and enlightened reading this book. I highly recommend!

Jennifer L Scott is someone I admired and no longer. She is not the same as when she wrote her books. She promotes products and has become pretentious. She uses others content. I no longer find her chic. She lines everyone up to herself. Live what you preach don’t just make videos about it.
