Historia
Because within ODIN there is General Operations, which speaks for itself; ODIN 5i, which deals with intelligence gathering, and then there is ODIN 1i which deals in operations so sensitive not even the CIA can touch them. All three are run with an iron first by The Chief, a giant with a gigantic IQ. His top agent is Alex Mason, hard and cool – he's a law unto himself.

Unadulterated Racism & Hate
Revisado: 05-02-25
The story is packed with pro-Zionist, Islamophobic propaganda in addition to condescending attitude towards Philippinos, Chinese, and indigenous people. This is, of course, coupled with glorifying the Mossad & Israel in general referring to antisemitism as the reason for the widespread anti-Zionist views.
This work is so revolting, I just couldn't listen to the end.

Pro-Zionist propaganda scattered throughout the novel.
Revisado: 10-03-24
Pro-Zionist propaganda scattered throughout the novel, complete with unabashed anti-Arab and Islamphobia statements whenever there was a chance to insert it.

Historia
1992. All across the United States respectable, upstanding citizens are showing up dead. These deaths could be accidents, and they don’t appear to be connected—until a fatal fall from a high-floor window attracts some unexpected attention. That attention comes from the secretary of defense. All of a sudden he wants an interagency task force to investigate. And he wants Jack Reacher as the army’s representative. If Reacher gets a result, great. If not, he’s a convenient fall guy.

OK story, awful reading
Revisado: 05-29-24
Full of Jack Reacher fights, but the story is mediocre at best. However, what's really bad is the reading (the yelling actually) by Scott Brick. I will never buy another read by guy.

Historia
When novelist Owen Quine goes missing, his wife calls in private detective Cormoran Strike. At first, Mrs. Quine just thinks her husband has gone off by himself for a few days - as he has done before - and she wants Strike to find him and bring him home. But as Strike investigates, he discovers that Quine's disappearance is no coincidence. The novelist has just completed a manuscript featuring poisonous pen-portraits of almost everyone he knows. If the novel were published, it would ruin lives - meaning that almost everyone in his life would have motives to silence him.

Tiring
Revisado: 02-09-23
Tiring, repetitious, and boring description of streets, building & floor plans which are often irrelevant. Lee Child had to come up with an unusual almost mythical giant hoping to make the story interedting.
I have listened to ALL of his novels. This one disappointed me the most.

Glory be to the chosen ones
Revisado: 12-02-22
This novel's primary objective is to heap praise on and glorify Israel's Mossad and its inhumane, vicious methods to silence all and any voice speaking for the basic human rights of the Palestinians. You don't need to read between the lines to see how Arabs are vilified while the racist pro-apartheid white colonialists of South Africa & Rhodesia as well as the Jewish settlers of the Palestinian territories & the Golan heights are painted as a super human race.

Historia
When a young man is found gruesomely murdered in a London houseboat, it triggers questions about three women who knew him. Laura is the troubled one-night-stand last seen in the victim’s home. Carla is his grief-stricken aunt, already mourning the recent death of yet another family member. And Miriam is the nosy neighbor clearly keeping secrets from the police. Three women with separate connections to the victim. Three women who are – for different reasons – simmering with resentment. Who are, whether they know it or not, burning to right the wrongs done to them.

Too Confusing
Revisado: 10-02-22
Too many characters.
Yo-yo time-line
Repetitive, verbose .
Lacking action and suspense.
In the end, we got to know who the killer is, but we still can't tell who the real villain is.

Muslims Have Their Way With Goats
Revisado: 12-11-21
I am a fan of Jack None Reacher, but this book disappointed me in that it revealed an ugly prejudice. According to Mr. Child Muslims "have their way" with domesticated animals, particularly goats. I sincerely hope it was just an unfortunate & misconceived joke.
